  Relax and enjoy the peace!

  This hotel is extremely quiet and relaxing. The staff speaks English extremely well and they are very accommodating. The surrounding landscapes and the countryside are absolutely gorgeous, no matter what time of year. Bikes are avaialble to ride, there are great stretches for jogging, the pool is clean and the indoor tennis is great. Expect a slower pace in the dining room for dinner, but every morsel is fresh and exceptional. The breakfast offers great variety. Ihave stayed here several times over the last eight years and I am never disappointed.

  beautiful hotel

  we booked this hotel as it was the closest we could get to meppen for the wusv dog championships in october and i have to say we definitely made the right choice !!! we were met in reception by a lovely lady who booked us in and explained wheree all the ammeniteys were and where we would have to go for dinner . the rooms were very clean and of a very good size with fresh fruit put on the table which i thought was a very nice touch . the hotel it self was in excellent condition in a beautiful peaceful location in the forrest . the food in the dinning room was some of the best food i have had the pleasure to eat it was really stunning and not expensive for the the selection of things on the menu !! and the staff made our stay extra special nothing was to much trouble they really know how to treat their customers , so all in all i have to say i give this hotel 10 out 10 for excellence , i will definitely be returning to the romantic hotel , THANKYOU

  Excellent

  It was wonderful place to stay ! Very special ! The room was very clean ,big and luxury . The view was a wonderful windmill . The staff was friendly and helpful . The restaurant was excellent ,the food was excellent also . The breakfast was far to generous ,and on the table was a sticker whit or family names . Very nice idea . The swimming pool also was excellent. Strongly recommend the place !

  Lovely hotel and Ideal for both Business and for Pleasure

  This is a lovely hotel, beautifully designed with nice touches all over the hotel. My room was lovely with a corner spot looking over the grounds. The room was tasteful and very, very clean. There was a warm welcome, and very helpful and friendly staff wherever you are. The restaurant was relaxed with a selection of very nice dishes & you will certainly not go hungry. I noted that the hotel had a number of children and dogs are allowed & this shows that it is pet and family friendly. The hotel was not chosen by myself & was one that is used regularly by my business colleagues & I have to say I do not think that this could have been any better. Thank you, I enjoyed my stay with you & if I am ever in the area again I will most certainly be staying with you again and would not hesitate to bring my family with me.

  Four Day Stay

  Beautiful hotel, very friendly and competent staff. Lovely food and atmosphere. One downside - the children who were booked in with their parents were not sufficiently supervised. Our days at the much needed Wellness Centre were spoiled by rowdy children taking over the pool and using and giggling in the sauna where they were not allowed!! Then they would run and shout in the corridors where we were trying to snooze! Apart from that Id love to stay again but would check next time to make sure there were going to be NO children booked in. Such a shame.
