  Alright but nothing special

  This hotel is located in a small town outside Milan called Binasco, It is about a 10-15 minute bus trip from the Milan metro. All in all this place is not too bad, but is far from outstanding. Rooms are fairly spacious, although a little old, a bit dingy and had stale cigarette smell. Hotel staff were reasonably friendly and spoke a bit of English. Breakfast was standard continental and quite satisfactory. We were here in summer, so airconditioning was important. Our room was fine in this respect with a standalone AC unit, but our friends room was reliant on the ducted AC system which was very poor and left their room stuffy and uncomfortable. Once we had worked out the bus system we found it was reasonably convenient to get to Milan. You need to connect to the Milan metro using a bus - the Binasco stop is literally just around the corner from the hotel. We found the english directions on the hotel website to be fairly ambiguous so I will give you a rundown. To get to the hotel from Milan you need to travel to the MM2 Famagosta metro stop, which is the end of one of the lines. There is a bus station next to the exit of this stop. You can take any bus going to Pavia (plus others i believe - just ask the bus driver if they are going to Binasco). The "Pavia Diretta" bus is the go - it takes a little over 10 minutes. The "Pavia Omnibus" is a milk run which took us about 35 minutes Buy your tickets at the news kiosk beforehand. Overall this hotel could be a reasonable budget option if staying in Milan is not possible. Binasco is actually a very nice little town once you discover it (go down the unpromising looking alley at the back of the bus stop). Just be sure to complain if you get a stuffy room - there are better ones there.

  Misrepresentation

  Manager/Gentleman at reception was very friendly and helpful, but rooms look old with cigarette burn marks on linen and front rooms are noisy outside. Back rooms doesn't get wifi reception. Breakfast filling but uninspiring. Although paid in advance for four days with no chance of refund - I packed up after first night and searched for alternative accommodation, just didn't feel safe. This place is fine if you're passing through, need a bed to rest for one night and don't mind the stale smell of cigarettes and dusty streets surrounding the hotel, but don't try and make a holiday out of staying here.

  Overrated

  This hotel advertises itself as 4 stat hotel. With no restaurant and a poor breakfast it struggles to be a 3 star. Location is good and the staff are excellent. Everything id dated and needs a complete refurbishment.

  Nothing special but ok

  We decided to go in this hotel because dogs are allowed. Hotel by itself is ok, but nothing special. A bit outside milano, you mast pay the highway go get in the city fast. Breakfast is ok but served in a small room

  Business Stay but hopefully never again

  Moved to Ascot as our normal hotel in Binasco was fully booked, first impressions were of a motel and not a three star hotel. Heard reference that it advertises as a four star. In my opinion saying it's three star is wrong. Noisy rooms, uncomfortable beds, had to use a towel to lift pillows so as to be comfortable. Breakfast ordinary at best, at worse terrible. Not likely to be going back. Oh forgot to mention the front desk are helpful, apart from that very poor.
