a nice place with thoughtful and warm serviceWe stayed in Aria in Oct 22-27, my friends and I are very satisfied with here. They offer free coffee and bottle water(in the lobby), it's so important and kind for backpackers. And I want to especially thank the lovely lady in the counter, she helped us a lot, even borrow us umbrella when it rains. Anyway, i recommend this lovely Aria Hotel to you.

Great Ajumma at the front desk who is super friendly. Hotel room exceeds expectation! Jacuzzi is a plusThe hotel/Motel is conveniently located just one street behind the bustling Nampodong Shopping district in Busan. Walking distance to attractions like Yongdusan tower/park, Nampodong shopping street, Jalgachi Market and very convenient to travel to tourist destinations like Busan Station. By subway, Busan Station is just 2 stations away and by Taxi only cost 4000 won, Taejong dae by tourist bus. Super near to Lotte Mart by walking distance Room was huge and comfortable as we upgraded it to VIP room. The amenities is great for a room that costed only 100,000 won for three bedder. Highly recommend, but beware of the slope. It's a pretty steep climb. If you have older folks or kids, it may be a challenge.

Not idealThis is a love hotel. While the reception was friendly, the hotel is quite seedy. The entrance is in a garage with an elevator up to 2F reception. Room came complete with feminine wash, condom and lube by the bed (complimentary?) and a mirror on the ceiling above the bath. Decor was dated and tacky. The bed was rock hard and the shower intermittently went scalding hot. Only towels supplied were handtowel sized. Don't stay here... checked out early

2nd stay here and it was as great as the first!Stayed here alone for the first time in April 2015 and because of the central location to Nampodong shopping area + good service, decided to booked another stay here with my partner in April 2016. The room that I got this time around was different from the first but was still clean and we had a good sleep quality during our trip. This time, we didn't get the huge jacuzzi bath tub but had the round tub. Only downside to this tub was that it took a really long time to fill the tub, which made me prefer the other jacuzzi tub. Otherwise, no gripes for my second stay as it was really a comfortable stay with the room being made up everyday and tea/coffee topped up. The receptionist was courteous as ever and helped us to arrange for a taxi to the airport on our departing day. Have recommended this hotel to a few of my friends and will consider staying here for the third time again!

Poor customer serviceI hate writing bad reviews but it was frustrating to say the least because there is a lack of communication and they do not know how to say sorry. I checked in with a company group and asked the front desk lady if the resort fee was waived for me to use the gym and spa and she said yes. I planned my afternoon around going to the spa to relax during the work trip, even canceled plans with coworkers to go. I called the spa just to confirm and Chesley on the phone told me yes that I my hotel stay covered the $50 spa fee. I walked downstairs to the spa 10 minutes later and Jennifer at the desk told me she did not know anything about it. She called Chelsey, told her on the phone "its ok ill fix it" but still no confirmation of it is covered or not, then she told me to walk all the way down to the from desk to confirm. I said no and she should call the front desk. She huffed again and finally called talked to a person there and the manager and neither of them had a definite answer. So Jennifer rudely asked me "so are you going to pay?" well at this point I was upset and still needed to relax so I reluctantly paid the $50 fee. Then upon checkout I told them again what happened, no sorry no apology at all just a simple well we will look into it. The customer service is not up to par. I am a very loyal Marriott member and I know this would never happen at a Marriott location.
