  Good Hotel

  We used spontaneous the offer, therefore very good value for what you pay. Rooms are nice and clean, bathroom a little small. A suggestion for the management, let motorbikes park inside or at the entrance. We were consistently asked to park our bike on the road in front of the hotel. Next time we come back to this place.

  Lovely 3 night stay

  I stayed here for three nights with my partner. We had heard about MDR from a friend- it was a nice base for exploring Ragusa/Nota with some badly needed pool time and relaxation in the mix! MDR seemed to be full of Italian tourists so it had a different vibe to some of the other places we visited! The hotel was a pleasant surprise! The pool was really lovely and very quiet so much so we practically had it to ourselves most days! The hotel itself had a nice breakfast- seemed typical Sicilian style with lots of cake! It didnt have a bar or anything and seemed like some areas of the hotel were closed but overall it was ideal for what we wanted! It was close to the hill towns for day trips but equally had a great little pool and we could Potter into the town for dinner in the evenings (about a ten minute walk).

  Small hotel with nice pool area

  This hotel is a part of a SPA. The rooms are small and the walls are very thin. But, we had a good nights sleep and the air conditioning worked well. The pool area was clean and we enjoyed an afternoon in the sun. There is no bar, so you need to bring your own refreshment. There is a small walking distance to the city center - approx. 10 minutes. The center and the walk by the sea was lovely. The breakfast was good, with both cheese and ham as well as fruit and vegetables (very uncommon for Sicily). We recommend this hotel because of the pool area and the walking distance to the center!

  Great location by the beach

  My husband and I stayed at Aria di Mare for two nights on our Sicilian round trip. We didn't spend a lot of time in Marina di Ragusa, as we wanted to visit the old town of Ragusa. In the morning, however, we went to the beach next to the hotel. As hotel guests we paid 12-13 euros for two sunbeams and an umbrella - a pretty good deal! We also made use of the hotel pool which was located right next to our room. The room itself was very simple with no window. For two nights this was okay, but if I were to stay longer, I would definitely upgrade. I kind of felt like we were staying in a pool house. Il Delfino, one of the most popular restaurants in Marina di Ragusa, is located right next door - strong recommendation! It is a good idea to make a reservation, however. We also liked La Anchoa for lunch. Will definitely consider Aria di Mare if we ever decide to return to Marina di Ragusa.

  The worst Hotel ever.

  We chose this hotel because the description said free parking , and parking in the Marina is difficult, and garden view. Well the parking turned out to be just in the street and the garden view was a wall and the passage to the swimming pool and other rooms. Although the hotel is near the beach there is no access to the beach. The worst part though was the noise, on one side there is an amusement park which makes a racket until midnight and the other side a yoga club which also plays loud music at night. The walls are paper thin and we could hear conversations next door. We had too loud Italian ladies on one side and a crying baby on the other side. Never slept worse than the 5 nights at Aria di Mare. The room was tiny and so was the bathroom. The bed was unusually short and we are average size but our feet were sticking out. The room felt as if it had not been decorated or fully furnished. The airconditioning was inefficient and sometimes appeared to be heating , it also rattled.
