  Average Hotel

  We stayed here for one night. The only good thing about this hotel was its proximity to the US consulate and the airport. None of the charging points worked except the one for the TV. The breakfast was quite good. It was a quite average hotel. I would not recommend this to anyone.

  Do not make the mistake of staying here

  This hotel may be good for someone who is only going to spend a night or two. If you are going to be on an extended stay, do not consider this hotel. The rooms are very small and have no refrigerator, no micro, no coffee maker, no A/C....I had a floor fan in my room which did not cool it very well. The area is not very good either. There are very few places nearby to eat. If you want a good meal you either have to take the tram or hop a taxi. The service is very poor. They are not concerned with the guests comfort. The breakfast is not worth the cost and is exactly the same every day. One major negative is that they charge you for your entire stay upfront and will not give a refund if you would like to leave early.

  Cosy, clean and close to public transport

  My second time in Frankfurt on a short business trip and unfortunately the accommodation prices in Frankfurt were more than 300% due to an international fair. Quite some distance from the airport, but close to tram 18, which takes you to Konstablewache city centre. Due to increased bookings, they kept several peoples luggage in the small reception area until 2pm check in time (a long wait after arriving in Frankfurt at 5h30 after the 10.5 hour flight). Small,but impeccable room in an old (historic) building. A helpful reception, free WIFI, air-conditioning and tasty, but expensive breakfast. Overall, a nice stay.

  I would not reccomend it....

  The hotel is located in quiet nice surroundings in a large villa. It was recently renovated and everything is very clean, but...... First of all during two nights I was bitten by some insects, probably a kind of bug, as I found one in the room and I came back home with several signs of egzema on my hands and neck. The room itself was really small, almost claustrophobic, there was no place to put the luggage on, just a bed, small desk one chair and shelves; the bathroom was the same size of the room. My more personal problem resulted from extremely heavy door in the room as it was also new and they installed this device which made them open and close slowly " to protect people from fire". As a bit disabled person I cannot do any effort, so I asked the staff to disconnect this device for two days, but they refused to do it. I needed to ask them for help any time I was entering and leaving the room (at leaving I have to call the reception). While asking what would they do if there was a fire and I could not leave the room myself, they told me that they would come to rescue me. It was rather humiliating experience for me and of course it was not nice to be a/ imprisoned in a room and b/ ask for help any time I want to go in and out. My colleague who stayed also in th place asked for the more quiet room and he got very tiny one in a basement... A staying there is not a very cheap one, and although mine was paid by the institution which invited me to Frankfurt, I would not reccomend this place for the reasons mentioned above.

  Freshly renovated, lovely room

  We were really happy with our stay here. Some of the old reviews here must be from before the new renovations. Our room was beautiful. Friendly staff. Just a 10 minute walk by foot from the American consulate, great for consulate appointments. A bit far from the city centre (maybe 25 min with public transit to main train station, using lines 18 + 11), but very close to the tram and bus stop (3 minutes by foot). Lots of free street parking and a McDonalds nearby, if you're on a budget you can park on the street and get your breakfast across the alley at McD. :)
