  A very lucky find

  Spent a long weekend here, just me and my dog. Excellent location right opposite the beach. The room was small and simply furnished, but modern and spotlessly clean. Excellent WiFi coverage. David, the proprietor, was friendly and helpful and suggested the dog could play in the small secure garden whilst I ate breakfast. Would most definitely stay here again.

  Wonderful place

  Can't find fault with this great value hotel. Stayed for a week (room 6) to visit family. Delightful little balcony overlooking the memorial, beach and sea with views across to the town and harbour. Hosts are extremely helpful and speak great English too - I do try but my French sometimes fails me lol. Location is perfect, very pretty garden too. Have stayed elsewhere in Royan but would now always head here.

  Little gem

  Stayed here for one night in January. Great little budget hotel a stones throw from the beach and main shopping centre. Rooms on the small side but spotlessly clean. Welcoming hosts and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

  Byron Bay in France

  This is a beautiful surf - shack style hotel that even has a little Zen Palice Yoga hit in the back yard . I could not fault it . Friendly , very clean , excellent location ( beach front ) and a beautiful thick green garden in the backyard . Very relaxing and a lovely ocean breeze with the windows open . Shower area was very clean and I will definitely stay here from now on when visiting Royan ( which will be regularly)

  Big rooms.

  Considering the very high price level of the hotel in Royan, which is not justigied by their quality, I would rate this hotel on the top of the economic accomodation. We changed 3 hotels during our stay because they were all booked and this is the best we stayed. Very basic rooms but very big, the same was the bed...........not the small french bed but a real bed. Owner very helpful. Would recommend among the other on the same price level.
