  Home away from Home

  I have been here for a month now and the staff have been more than helpful. This is the best stay for many reasons. Firstly you are an hours train ride to Milan (or less) and then you are on Lago Maggiore...yes! Here the location is central and the rooms are comfortable and the hotel itself is quaint.   Very nice sraff

  We are very happy with this hotel in Arona. The location is quite good, Emiliano (the recepcionist) was simply super kind giving us a lot of nice tips about the city. The bedroom was clean, very spacious and so was the bathroom. Our stay was very confortable. The prices are very fair and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

  "Retro" but reasonable and fantastic staff

  I think previous reviewers are being a tad harsh on this place. Ok, fine: it's not 4star, but it's not priced that way either. What it is; is a lovely, reasonable little spot in an older style hotel that has been kept immaculately clean. Besides-you're here for the lake anyway aren't you...? We got mis-booked by an online booking agency (not TA) that put us into a too-small room. No issues at all; easily sorted by the staff and at all times they were pleasant, engaging and helpful people who went out of their way to ensure our stay was as good as they could make it. Come here expecting a retro look and decor. Our room was clean, comfortable and better than many I have stayed in for considerably more expense and the helpfulness of the staff really made our experience here a great one in a lovely corner of Italy.

  Great Stay

  My wife and I stayed here several nights, while I was in the area for work. The hotel had a great central location, the hotel was spotlessly clean and quiet, staff were all friendly and very helpful. Ive stayed in hotels all over the world, and this is a typical hotel for the area, everything in great condition, reasonable prices, great breakfast. Ivan, thank you for the homemade wine from you and your grandfather. Grazie!

  Good but not quite four star

  This hotel is really central and convenient for boats, trains and attractions. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very very polite and helpful. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful with a wide choice of food: cold cuts, cooked, fruit, yoghurt, juices, biscuits, cakes, croissants and more. However, the rooms need just a little extra to be four star. But overall a very nice hotel.
