  Que linda estadia!

  Este hotel es muy recomendable de mi parte. En primer lugar la atencion fue excelente, siempre amables, sonrientes, con muchas ganas de ayudar y solucionar problemas. La habitacion estaba siempre muy limpia y ordenada. El baño es un poco pequeño y con una extraña forma de convertirse de baño a ducha con solo mover la puerta. Esta un poco alejado de la zona principal o centrica de esta hermosa ciudad pero la locomocion pasa por la misma esquina. El desayuno es buffet, no es muy tradicional pero tenia pan, huevos duros, jamon y queso, cafe, te y jugos. Es importante mencionar que hablan sueco e ingles (aunque a veces no muy fluido el ultimo) Tenia una sola computadora con internet en el lobby, no recuerdo si habia wifi. La zona es muy tranquila y dio sensacion de ser segura. Tiene restaurantes de comida rapida a pocos pasos. Lo recomiendo para viajeros solo, mochileros y familia. Es un hotel basico pero muy acogedor.

  Better than I remembered it

  This place has a lot of things going for it. Centrally located without being in the middle of everything. Parking on the street is free between 18-09, a really good breakfast, free wifi, and comfortable beds. The downside that the outside, the corridors, and the breakfast room are quite boring. It still looks like an old apartment building, remade into a hotel. I also had a look at their budget rooms which have one interesting feature that might be interesting when you book. The budget rooms have a shower wall that you need to fold out to screen of the toilet chair. A shower curtain will the screen off the entrance door to avoid flooding the hall. In other words - you sort of walk through the shower to get to the toilet. The solution works, but it is a bit odd.

  Good bed, tiny bathroom

  The position of this hotel is pretty good. It is quite central and at walking distance from restaurants and the city center. We could park with the car on the street, which was not exactly close to the hotel but close enough. The instructions from the staff were though a bit unclear, but we figured it out anyway. Otherwise, the check in went smooth and we entered the hotel, that still has some details from the 50-60s (I guess), like for example the interior of the elevator and some detail in the corridor. I had a room on the 4th floor. The wifi worked very well, the room was quite ok in size. It lacked an hanger for the coat and a place where to put the bags. There was a quite ok desk and the bed was pretty comfortable. Unfortunately it was a rainy day and the rain disturbed my sleep although I kept the window closed. The bathroom was very tiny. It took a while to realize that the shower was just above the sink and in order to take a shower one has to move a wall somehow. It was also a bit interesting to figure out how to open the tap water without getting water everywhere. The room was reasonably clean, the bathroom could get a touch of freshness (well, it wouldn't help with the strange construction: it felt like being on a night train). Breakfast was very swedish oriented with not a major choice of food to eat, but quite the essential. Getting a tray can be comfortable but give a bit "canteen" sensation. I didn't eat much breakfast that day for a reason or another. What I took was quite ok, but I still think that having a real coffee in the morning (and not one from the machine) is a nice touch in every hotel. The interior of the breakfast restaurant was a bit obsolete, still giving the canteen sensation. Alltogether the stay at this hotel was quite alright. It didn't exceed expectations, but it met at least the comfort of a decent bed where to sleep, which is something people should not underestimate, although this is not a fancy place to stay.

  Simple three star - quite ok for overnight

  Simple hotel without any fuzz. No views or anything - but fine if you just search for a good nights sleep without getting ruined. A little bit off the absolute center, but Halmstad is small and easily walkable. Perfect for an overnight stay. Everything you basically need is there. Comfortable, but narrow, beds. Small bathrooms. Surprisingly good breakfast with herring, eggs (boiled and scrambled), cold cuts, pancakes etc. Kind staff, who also can provide you with a drink and snacks from the "lobby bar". Generally nice, very affordable and recommended for what it is...

  Nice hotel with great location

  Stayed here for one night. Located in the middle of town about 5-10 min walk from the town centre where all the restaurants and shops are. Possible to park on the street in front of the hotel which is good. Good service, clean room. Would stay there again.
