  Hotel encantador

  Pocas habitaciones, peró cada una de ellas con estilo propio. Desayuno espectacular. No hay recepción a partir de las 12h00, peró hay un teléfono directo para contactar con ellos 24h. Personal muy amable, atento y encantadores como el Hotel.

  Never again!

  Germanys answer to Fawlty Towers: 24 hour reception - not true. A barely audible intercom system replaces this. It took us a while to get into the hotel. The special offer price per night of 220 Euros, reduced to 86 Euros was hard to believe. Parking only 3 spaces. We were told off for using 2. The worlds smallest bathroom and we had to hunt for the kettle and Chinese tea in an ancient wardrobe. The historic staircase could do with a lift. Managers customer relation skills zero. If you mention a problem he wont let you speak. If you do try and speak further with the manager he might call you a witch! No Im not kidding HEXE is the word he used!! I dont think he realised we could speak German!

  Catastrophic

  The reception claims to be open from 9 AM - 1PM and then from 3PM-8PM. Not true! Couldn't get into the hotel for ages. The intercom system doesn't function properly. After trying the intercom for 20 minutes I finally got a response from a very unhelpful man who told me I didn't have a reservation. Well I did - the hotel sent me a confirmation email. Well eventually, after about two hours of waiting around I gave up. Managed to enjoy my night in Düsseldorf still but had to take a very late train back to Hannover. Do yourself a favour, don't book this hotel.

  Nice was the value.

  The hotel is really close to the center. The room was small, but nice. Bathroom was pretty small. Towels and toiletries were provided. Receptionist was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The check-in was very quick, easy and smooth. The price value is good. There was no elevator in the hotel. Also, WIFI was just average.

  Overbooked and did not honor reservation. Refused to refund, and feels like a hostel.

  BEWARE THEY LACK HOSPITALITY; VERY RUDE! The hotel double booked our room and refused our reservation. They relocated us to a sister property that was on the outskirts of town and half the price. We had to take a taxi, and were promised a partial refund, but received no money in return. Moreover, both hotels were not clean, and felt similar to a hostel. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME DO NOT BOOK HERE. On my next trip to Dusseldorf, I found the NH which was MUCH nicer and comparable in price. Much better hospitality, was not rude, and did not cause hours of frustration.
