  Pleasant, centrally located hotel

  The hotel is located right on the main square, it hasa restaurant which serves locally brewed beer. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The only drawback for a sensitive ear could be a noise of cars driving on the stone paved streets.

  Wonderful stay, simple and honest

  Staying for a weekend for a wedding, we arrived and were welcomed and treated very well, the hotel was very accommodating. My only advice for the international traveller who smokes is make sure you take some, virtually impossible to get locally. Opportunity for the hotel me thinks :-)

  Great location, service could be better

  This hotel would be quite easily in very good, gaining one more star, if service is doing their job little bit better. I'm not sure if that's miscommunication or something, but in five days (four nights stay) no one ever entered the apartment (as we rented one of the apartments belonging to Hotel am Markt) to clean it up, plus bedroom was full of spider webs and spiders. Just a simple look can show that it's just something that's being ignored by cleaning service. To be really honest, this was something I wanted to bring up during the checkout, but neither we were asked how do you like it and stuff like that, plus someone stopped by to ask something and I felt quite stupid trying to insist on that topic even while I speak fluent German. Another issue was absolutely no wi-fi signal in the apartment, so I didn't even bother asking for credentials (as I was surprised that no one mentioned it during check in, but considered it open and free). Otherwise, location is great, apartment at least - if it would be cleaned properly - would be perfect, price was also very reasonable. Also restaurant was quite nice, I liked the food and their home brew. I would definitely return, but next time took someones hand from service stuff during check in and ask to inspect the room together regarding cleanness.

  Quaint but excellent. Bike storage.

  As a Bett & Bike hotel there's planty of indoor space for your two wheels. (And if you're travelling with four wheels there are spaces onsite and just up the road). Rooms midsize; recently modernised bathrooms; very good breakfast with a few logistic challenges (you shouldn't put the bread in a hard to reach corner as part of a German breakfast buffet ...) and the best bacon I've had for breafast in a German hotel (and I have been to quite a few). Nice central location on the market square - apart from the hotel's own restaurant (didn't try) there are several others within a short walk and also a Lidl supermarket 300 metres away (even open on Sunday afternoons). Room safe, no minibar. Wifi is free (get code from reception) but midstrength at best. Slightly brusque service but to be recommended.

  Delicious food

  Visited the restaurant and had a delicious lunch with fish and vegetables, and Wienerschnitzel with fries. The home made beer type Hell was also very good. Together with 2 espresso the bill was not even 60 euro.
