  Great rooms, super beds and extraordinary breakfast

  Calm village atmosphere, very clean and centrally located while around the corner from the medieval beautiful cloister. Incredible breakfast, helpful friendly staff and very comfortable beds justify the relatively high price. Only dark point the clean good sauna which acc. to in-room booklet was free but later charged extra, a totally unnecessary Inconvenience .

  Serene setting

  Being here off season probably made this former convent more like the place it was before. Very quiet, birds singing, the noisy modern life not too close. Add to this an almost incredibly clean, very modern hotel in a medieval environment, and you're in for a relaxing time. A well prepared breakfast rounds off the stay. The reception was not open at all times, no doubt because of the season, but the staff was never far away and came quickly and smiling, when called. Parking was easy. Many rooms seem to be accessible for the functionally impaired, the management obviously have worked hard on this.

  Quite and peaceful place

  Wienhausen is a small but beautiful place.Hotel is suited in the"centar".It is very clean,rooms are comfortable and spacious,modern bathroom.Breakfast is great,various.Staff is frendly .If you like quite place to stay,I recomed this hotel.

  Great rooms, excellent breakfast - no dinner

  Wienhausen is a very small village, the hotel is 'centrally located' alongside the beautiful convent. The hotel consists of a number of smaller buildings in a park. It is very calm, with lots of green, far away from (almost) everything. The staff are friendly, but (surprisingly) you must definitely double-check their answers, if you have any questions. They e. g. gave us the wrong opening hours of the convent (which can only be visited by guided tour given by one of the resident nuns). And they were not helpful when we asked about a place to have dinner. (The hotel only has a cafè that closes at 6 p.m.. Don't visit Wienhausen on a Monday, as the two restaurants in the village are closed.) But: The rooms are spacious, well-furnished and offer excellent beds. The Wifi-signal is strong, and their breakfast buffet is extraordinary. Everything to provide a relaxing stay in a serene setting.

  This is just the best hotel experience I've had in years. Perfection. Simply totally fantastic.

  Everything about this hotel is just perfect in my opinion. Beautifully situated by the river with a medieval mill and surrounded by medieval half-timbered houses and overlooking the world class heritage site of Kloster Wienhausen. The hotel is a very well built modern adaptation of old and new- tastefully blended together with craftmanship and top quality materials. Everything just exudes quality and thought. It's peaceful and quiet, so you can lie in your comfortable bed and listen to the medieval bells of the convent. Everything is just top class. Comfort in the rooms, the surroundings,parking, a great breakfast, cleaniness and the most fantastic staff! You just feel at home and that all the staff smile and are so helpful, because they actually like working here. Do stop here, it is worth even a long detour.
