  Right at the railway station ...

  This hi tel is located right at the Stralsund railway station and still just a 15 minutes walk away from downtown. And this walk is worth the while. Many attractions in Stralsund are awaiting you to be discovered.

  Good!!

  It is a good hotel. The staff is friendly although not many speaks English. The breakfast it is a buffet with a good selection of food. The location is great very close to the train station and close to the old town.

  Value for money just outside the city centre

  The hotel is located a short but pleasant walk from the old town and city centre and a convenient 2 min walk from the main station. We had a standard room which was pleasantly sized and very clean. The staff was efficient and friendly. In addition they are home to the house of Marzipan and you can have a taster session every Saturday. We didn't do that so can't say if it's worth it but the marzipan treats at breakfast buffet were delicious. Overall value for money

  Stralsund is an old and interesting city

  We had a very friendly welcome in the Hotel. The lady showed us immediately the door to the garage which was free of charge. The hotel is in walking distance to the city center and although it is close to the railway station, we had a quiet room

  Wonderful stay in cozy hotel

  I stayed four nights in this cozy, lovely and clean hotel in Stralsund. I was in town for my aunts funeral. The hotel is conveniently located, just a few steps from the train station in a quiet residential street. There is an Avis rental car agency nearby. It is a 12-15 min walk across the green belt to the old and new market places in the old town. There are take-out restaurants nearby. For a sit-down dinner I highly recommend the Wulflam Stuben across from the Rathaus at the Alter Markt. I had asked for one of the hotels comfort rooms with a splendid view of the old town panorama across the Knieper lake. At night the churches and the city wall are illuminated. My room was spacious and clean, with a modern bathroom. Everybody of the hotels staff was very friendly and made me feel right at home. The breakfast buffet was excellent. You need to ask for it to be included with your room reservation. It costs extra. I highly recommend Hotel am Jungfernstieg.
