  una sorpresa

  Lo contraté con desconfianza, porque me parecía que la ubicación no era buena. Todo lo contrario, excelente ubicación, detalles de categoría, personal muy servicial, excelente desayuno, toda una sorpresa. Muestras gratis de desodorante, dentífrico, caramelos de cortesía, batas y pantuflas

  German Gemuetlichkeit at its very best

  Yeah, the pictures look a bit dated, but the price, location and good reviews were attractive, and it was less than five minutes walk from my business, so I booked. A great hotel. Despite arriving early, was given keys to my room, and appeared to have been upgraded from the single room I booked to a double in what appeared to be the older style rooms complete with net curtains, doilies and plastic flowers. Yes, no design hotel, for sure. But, the bed was very comfortable, had high quality linen, and everything was so clean - no stains on the carpets, no scuffed furniture, the place was spotless. The hotel is in a quiet residential area yet in 5 minutes you can walk to the station. Around the corner is the excellent Swedish Cafe Horna, and on the main road not far you fins some supermarkets, a traditional Frankonian restaurant as well as lots of Middle Eastern fast food. This is a family-run hotel and it really shows. Staff is very friendly! Their hotel brochure offers services that you would normally associate with a five-star hotel, very traditional, very service-orientated. I thought the rooms were fine, okay, don't look for interior inspiration or hot romance here, but for a business or family holiday this place cannot be beaten.

  Excellent family run hotel

  I was looking for a family run hotel and was not disappointed. We briefly met the owners and encountered several staff over the weekend. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, spoke several languages, and were eager that our stay was enjoyable. The room was clean and bathroom too. It would have been nice to have a kettle and some tea / coffee in the room after early morning flights or long days sight seeing. However there was a minibar. The breakfast was extensive with both hot and cold options. There were several types of tea and coffee and so much choice of very good quality food. The hotel is only a five mins walk from the main train station and in a quiet neighbourhood. We enjoyed the welcome drink and the free wifi too. Vielen Dank!

  Over priced for what it represents

  We were very disappointed with the Hotel as the reviews were very positive and uplifting but once there things are not as rosy. The rooms is very small for two people, the TV is angled in a manner that one person can watch from the bed. The amenities are standard and the room is clean. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is located a very quiet residential are about 10 minutes walk from the main train station but the crossing under the rail tracks is eerie as there is funny crowd.
