Execellent choice in the heart of Stadei was given a fabulous double room on the ground floor with lovely views of the Fisch Market Square. The bathroom was also very spacious and had plenty of room to put things. The only negative point was that the Internet was unreliable...

Decent HotelI stayed for 2 days in the single room. (Room number 6) Central location with a free parking lot. (Nearest supermarkt's parking area can be used by hotel customers.) Good wifi connection. Breakfast was also good with variety of cheese, ham, fruit, cereal and eggs. Clean room with a comfortable bed, but furnished with an old fashioned style. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. If you are taller than 190 cm, do not pick the single room since the ceiling of the restroom is exactly 190 cm. If you like to spend time in the hotel room, you might be disappointed. But it is ok to spend just a few hours to sleep.

Fabulous location -quirky hotelI stay in Stade on a regular basis and have tried a few different hotels. I struggled to book a hotel for this trip as all were fully booked (I have colleagues staying 20km away)! The Hotel Am Fischmarkt would not be my first choice but it is perfectly located for the best of Stade, restaurants, local life and pretty sights. The room I stayed in, room 10 is the smallest room I think I have ever stayed in but it is clean and comfortable. The manager/owner(?) is incredibly helpful and friendly. It is not a cheap hotel at 75 a night but supply and demand can work favourably! It is hard to find fault with the hotel but it does not compare to some others close by. While my stay was perfectly pleasant I won't rush back and will book earlier in future to get the hotels I would really choose

Poor rooms, dirty floors in a nice old houseThe room was very small, which is okay in such an old house, but the furniture is outdated and the floors are dirty. The whole house needs renovation. The breakfast is okay but nothiung special. The staff tries to be attentive. Too expensive for this quality.

Loved this property! Our stay was wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was accommodating, the gentleman at checkin could not have done a better job, making us feel very welcome! The location was phenomenal, and we had a wonderful view of old town. Everything was great.
