  I did not feel welcome

  This hotel is completely disappointing. At a four star hotel I expect to be greeted and to get help if needed. A few minutes Internet access is just a joke. We got a tablet which worked so slowly that the time of free access was expired before the connections were made. Yes, the rooms are small but I felt more or less OK with this as it was mentioned at the offer. The problem is the big window. If it gets opened it can not be reclosed without the use of much power. A two or three angle window would help. When we left the window tilt when leaving the room service closed it and when we came back we had terribly bad air in the room (it was pretty hot outside). The breakfast was OK, there was all we needed. We used the restaurant once. Food and service were good but we preferred to eat some where else after the first experiences with the hotel. pore

  Nice hotel with superb location

  The hotel has 5 Buildings whcih can make a bit difficult to "figure out" But it is cosy with a nice atmosphere, the rooms are not big, but nice and well equipped, and the restaurant i also nice with a good "ambiente" and good food.

  Fine hotel

  A small and cozy hotel in the center of the old part of Wismar. Interesting houses and not far to the shopping and cafes in town Friendly staff, but not all are happy to communicate in English, prefers Deutch. Clean rooms and good food. It is worth a visit

  Good location, but....

  Stayed at this hotel and had booked it trough a travel agency. When we arrived we were placed in the basement, in a smoking room. When I got back to the reception to ask about another room I could tell that the lady had had this request from other guests. When I looked at our booking it is stated that the room is on ground floor. For me that is not the same as in the basement, next to were the staff has the smoking break. However, we decided to stay in the room and not pay the extra for an update. Then we wanted to have a drink in the bar, it was happy hour at the time. We ordered a local beer and a GT. The beer was OK but the GT tasted just tonic. When I asked about the content I was told that it was 2 cl of gin in it. The glas contained at least 25 cl of tonic... They served me another one, this time with 4 cl of gin and still 25 cl's of gin... I thought Happy hour meant a good value on the drinks, not less alcohol. Dinner was OK and the breakfast had everything that we wanted. We stayed for two days and we had both excellent service as well as the guy who served the drink mentioned above. Perfect location and we enjoyed Wismar.

  Bad service

  Never experienced so bad service on a hotel ! The first morning we had 2 wait 1 hour on our breakfeast ,even trough we had wrote a piece of paper the Day before what er wanted . Half of the ordered breakfeast never came . The second Day , it was Also only half the breakfeast who came , we asked for the rest , but it never came . In the afternoon we ordered 4 soft drink , we waited 30 minutes for it . The waitress was ignorant when we asked for our orded things .
