    Close to motorway, shops and restaurants

    Positives: The room were very large and had several windows that we could open. Bed was nice with good bed lamps and individual quilts. Bathroom were very big. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was lovely, and the breakfast staff was very friendly. Negatives: No staff on our early evening arrival. Mattress a little too firm. WiFi didn't work properly. TV only had German speaking channels and had such a bad signal that the screen was flickering all the time. No fridge or coffee making fascilities in room. Lots of raod noise throughout the night from near by main road and train line.

    Overbooking and alternative hotel really dirty!!

    When we arrived,a polite man in reception told us to several couples that they had overbooking in the hotel.he sent us another hotel 1km far Away.same category he said.i can not speak about original hotel but the other one is the dirtiest hotel I have ever been.so my advice is:be Careful!! After 1000km I like to rest not cleaning rooms.i could speak about breakfast but you can imagine how it was.at least they could send an email so i could decide what to do if this happens again.at least 3 reservations overbooked its not serious for a good hotel.i hope to help with this opinión.if you reserve do it at your own risk!!

    Very nice and calm hotel

    I stayed there for 2 or 3 nights during my trip to Hamburg. It is not in the city but on the suburbs and you can reach it by train (appr 20-30 mins) or taxi (appr 50-60 EUR). The hotel is very nice and calm, with fresh air and cocks yelling in the morning. Very cheerfull place ))) The breakfast was also good.

    Overbooked and moved to alternative hotel

    We made our reservation for this hotel last Months ago. Upon arrival they had overbooked and told us that they had made arrangements at another hotel a few minutes down the road for us. They charged us the same price for the other hotel yet when we looked online that hotel costs a lot less. We questioned them on it and were met with several lies and they would never let us talk to the proper person, we just got passed around. It turns out that both hotels belong to the same owner/family and this type of overbooking isnt a rare thing. The alternate hotel was dirty, run down, and not worth the amount of money we paid at all. When we asked front desk staff If the room accommodated four people, he wouldnt confirm until after we gave him our credit card information. We were disappointed in the management and the hotel.

    Good pension in Hamburg

    We enjoyed perfect breakfasts and spacious room. The street is quite and the city center is easy to be reached by S- Bahn. The staff has been very responsive. The free WiFi, comfortable room and bathroom, the self-service beer fridge at the reception desk.
