  Fantastic apartment, Excellent value for money,

  Stayed in this beautiful apartment complex with my wife and 2 kids. Recommended by my friend who had a summer stay and winter stay last year. The apt is modern with wifi and TV with kitchen facilities. Bankso is a great skiing holiday. Slopes a real challenge. The town is just over 1-2 miles away. Taxis very cheap. Outdoor and indoor pool in adjoining hotel. Plus they have dining service. The apartment is cheapest on bookings.com for Bansko - the complex is certainly not cheap. Overall very good and will return...

  Weird and wonderful

  I stayed in this hotel mid Feb 2015 arriving around 6pm had a strange feeling when first arrived outside as it was all in darkness part from the lights in the reception after getting inside and waiting around for a good half hour no one was to be seen then a helpful English couple was passing through that found us our key for us behind the reception and just said let your selves in so we did and an hour later the reception guy came and knocked to see we was ok he was a lovely guy and would help if we needed anything (if we could find him) the hotel was a ghost town but very modern rooms lovely and warm and hot water all the holiday after turning on the boiler. It was bliss to be so quiet and left to do your own thing. As for the location it was far from the Center/ ski zone 2km to the sign of bansko but 6km to the ski zone and all pubs and clubs taxis are between 13-25 lev depending on times, the hotels bus only has 2 pick up times the lastest @ 9:45 and 3 afternoon drop offs the lastest drop off at 5pm the piry complete do help to arrange taxis. Wifi in the room was great connected every time. Bansko is cheap and food is great. Ski zone is great. As a whole I have a fantastic time I will defo go back to bansko but sadly not to the hotel just because of its location as paying for hotel and at least 2-4 taxis a day it didn't work out any cheaper than central hotels.

  A great find

  This hotel is a little older and a bit outside the city but the rooms are renovated, very nice and clean. The seem to have a little reception issue or a low on staff. When we arrived no one at the reception waited 15 min for someone to come. Once they showed up they took us to a little room they use as a reception but there was no sign for this at the actual reception. We had breakfast and dinner included in our rate but since we didnt want to pay extra for new New Years eve dinner they offered to give us packed snack lunch for skiing which was nice. The pool and sauna are a little run down but considering the price of the hotel it is worth it. The breakfast was nice, standard eggs, meat, cheeses fruit and vegies. Dinner didnt have a lot of options I found but it was adequate. Overall a great place for the money

  Fantastic ski resort hotel.

  We keep coming back to Hotel Alexander in Bansko. Just a short trip outside the town, this lovely modern hotel provides a great get away for family and friends. Staff are very friendly, shuttle buses provided to the ski zone /town centre. Great food in the next door restaurant too. We go back in Jan and March 2017...

  The only ok thing is that it was cheap

  We stayed for 4 nights and we had the surprize to find that is at 2 km away from Bansko and 5 km for center. Arriving there, the apartment looked ok, butn ot 4 stars ok, the sofa was broken, the swiming pool and restaurant were in another building and we had to walk outside in 0 degrees every time to reach there. The room was never cleaned, the towels and sheets never changed, etc. But the price was great.
