  Amazing hotel

  I have been at the hotel "Aleksander Medical & Spa" in may 2019 during 2 weeks. I was absolutely satisfied about my holidays there. It's amazing 5-star hotel that located is not far from beautiful mountains. Slovenian nature is really great and i have enjoyed every single moment of my staying here. Not far from the hotel is located a big beautiful park. The food was really very nice. The staff at the hotel was very friendly. The SPA recreation is very good. I think i'll come back to "Aleksander Medical & Spa" again! Thanks for everything!

  Luxurious hotel, top service.

  It has been first time in Rogaska Slatina, and it was an inspiring decision to stay with Hotel Aleksander. The place is gorgeous, located on the top of the hill, overlooking the center park of Rogaska. The service is matching the the tradition in history of this place. Overall, i would definitely advice to visit this place.

  Something very dodgy is going on - do not book here

  If you are thinking about booking a stay at this Aleksander Hotel, dont. From the moment we arrived the management were attempting to sell us far-fetched medical cures with lets just say evidence which is at best highly questionable. The manager and a 'doctor' cornered us in a room an d pitched to us for more than an hour. In my view, highly unethical. The Suite we stayed in was a roof top terrace, it was reasonably well presented, with the most charming of views, however the hot tub (a prime feature) was out of action far too often. The water was almost always discoloured. The sauna didnt work either and we were frequently interrupted by staff/workmen who did not knock to gain entry to the terrace. Construction noise also heavily impacted the stay. The hotel tried to charge us for amenities we did not have upon check out, of course we couldnt protest too much as we had a plane to catch. The manager was dodgy also, preferring cash deals for food. My initial review was deleted after the hotel lobbied TA, however, I have spoken with the powers that be and explained, this is a) a legitimate review and b) they/I have a duty of care to report my experiences. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

  Top hotel, Top spa

  I received a recommendation from my friends to try hotel Aleksander if i wish to feel special and so i did. I spendjust one weekend is this beautiful hotel and i felt like i never tried a 5 star hotel in Slovenia. The service is impeccable, rooms are luxurious and the spa was just perfect. By the way, i have seen the best gym equipment so far.

  Second time in Hotel Aleksander

  It was already the second time in Hotel Aleksander and i have to say that it looked even better than last time. This time i stayed in a Suite with park view, and i have to say that the view in the park is superb, much better than in winter.The restaurant also seemed to have received some upgrades in terms of food and wines. Overall, a very good impression.
