    excellent quality and service

This was a very comfortable, clean room with two balconies; one opened to a crystal clear stream of glacial meltwater, and one opened to the view of a church and large mountain. It was so peaceful at night lying with the doors open and listening to the sounds of a rushing brook. Breakfast was amazing!! All kinds of coffee, tea, juices, delicious cheeses, pastries and breads, yogurts, granolas, preserves, and meats: ham, salami, etc. The staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

    Wonderful hotel

We only wish that we could have stayed longer- everything was perfect. The hotel is family run; we were greeted by the owner, who came out in the rain to get our luggage. The other people working at the hotel (not all family, we assume) were equally warm and helpful. Our room was large with a lovely view up valley. The food was excellent.

A nice stay also for golfers.

The hotel has increased popularity from cyclists. Different from last time when we were staying there three years ago. We found the kitchen much better last time. Recommended wine (on Monday) was not cold and the bread that comes with the meal, are remainders of the breakfast table. Nevertheless kind service all controlled by the Simma family, The internet is not up to standard given the fact that the bandwith in this area is not broad enough.

    spacious rooms and excellent food

we stayed here to enjoy a skiing holiday and found it to be an excellent choice. The hotel is very well located on a quiet spot in the valley at 700 mtrs; the busses from the public transportation system stop at the front door to bring you to the Diedamskopf or the Damuls skiing resort. Ofcourse you can also drive up with your own car. From the hotel you can walk on the well prepared winter walking trails or you can reach the extensive network of cross country skiing trails (langlauf loipes). There is no night life or apres ski in the immediate area; if you are looking for disco and entertainment this should not be your choice; if however you are looking for a place to relax and gourmet this could well be a very good choice. The hotel is family owned and the Simma family runs the Adler hotel and the nearby Roesle hotel and has a cozy atmosphere. The rooms are clean and have a lot of square meters. There is an excellent breakfast and at night for half board guests a 5 course gastronomy dinner is served. A big salad bar is always the first course; then an apetizer, a warm soup, the main dish and a desert. High qualty food; very tasty and a well stocked wine list with a lot of choices. In the hotel there is a wellness area with two saunas; one of 60 degrees celcius and a finish sauna at 85 degrees Celcius and a steam room which opens at 15.00 hrs and closes at 19.00 hrs.

Great place to stay for skiing vacation

We've spent amazing 10 days in that hotel with my wife.Pretty much everything was nearly perfect starting from very arrival.Special thank's to Peter on reception. Very hospitable and helpful personnel on reception and in restaurant.Everybody speaks English, which is a big advantage and quite unusual for my beloved Austria:) Rather basic but spacious and cozy rooms.Fast internet. We had a junior suite and window view was just stunning.Strange that there was no fridge in suite, but we've got one on request straight away. Breakfast and dinner was just wonderful with great selection of local products served like in high class restaurants.Every dinner was a real event. And I really have what to compare with. And the last but not least - location of hotel is just brilliant if you come for skiing. It's situated between Damulls/Mellau and Warth/Schrocken and just 2km of from Diedamskopf that is a must to visit.Great and convenient ski room with very efficient boot driers. There were just couple things that we disliked - 1)room cleaning wasn't good at all.a lot of dust on top of furniture and in all areas out of sight.I wouldn't really care too much, however in hotel of such level and such price range that must be done better way2)rooms and furniture are a bit tired and a bit basic.Which is not a big disadvantage for me.Though some people may think different.3)Wellness are is very small and sauna is just tiny. But we will be back one day-that's for sure!
