Perfect business hotelStayed 5 nights for our business trip. The hotel was very helpful and flexible with our requests during the conference. Not many staff speak well English, which caused to us small issues during the work process, and some delays. Positively impressed from the room cleanliness (housekeeping in general), and the main restaurant staff. Very professional team. I still rate it 4 stars, mainly for the small accident that happened but brought to me a very negative impression. The first time when we got the possibility to go outside, after the working day, we asked the reception to call us a taxi (as the previous day the lady told us that prices are all the same, no matter we order from the hotel or take a taxi from outside), so we preferred to order, considering this as a more safe option. We went to downtown and back, and the driver called Waleed was literally eating our brains all the trip. Speaking a lot, things that we didn't need to hear. He offered to wait us till we finish our walk, since we couldn't call him back. He supposed to wait there, but he was driving other clients during this time and we end up waiting him in a cafe, till we saw that he came. We didn't want to go back with him but as he didn't accept to take any money from when he left us, we were obligated to return with him again. So we did. I asked why the meter isn't working, he said that this is not a problem, and by the end of our trip i supposed to give him 80 Tunisian Dinars, while I had only 70 all in my pocket. He took these and said it's OK (as we supposed to discuss the price!). Then he waited for us to go up to the room and came to the reception (!!! guess why). I knew this when I had to go down to renew my keys. Well, this experience was terrible, but I learned: NEVER ever order your taxi at the reception of any hotel in Tunis, just go out and catch a free taximeter. It's consuming less time and nerves, truly. Also it will cost you about 1 Dinar per km :) We had to use taxies later in the city, and nobody was trying to cheat us or talk anything unnecessary. Same accident was reported to the other shift at the front desk (the polite receptionist who exchanged my cash-forgot his name) and I really hope that this greedy driver understood that what he does is very unpleasant!

Average hotel. Good for short stays. Breakfast is boringThe hotel is an average hotel (advertised as a 4-star hotel but is more like a 3-star big hotel) the rooms are okay, the bed is not so comfy, the shower head has low-pressure water. The breakfast is okay in the first days, but it gets boring as the meals are repeated over an over again. I wouldn't be staying here if i have to come back but for short term stays (less than 3 days)

Should be even 1 starThis is the worst hotel i have ever been Very very old Too expensive compared to service and quality Nothing is special Should think twice before you select this hotel The only good is location and distance to airport

Convenient Hotel, some improvements neededI personally enjoyed my stay here at the Acropole. The area is nice, clean and safe. Room was more than enough for me, with a great shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was just enough, although you can get bored of it after few days and no variety is changed, its the same breakfast everyday. Cleanliness could be improved, they are minor details and nothing to worry about. Banquet services also could need some improvement. If you are looking for a business hotel in Lac 1 area, this is a good option to consider.

Not worth itThe hotel is ok but the people working here are totally unhelpful. Breakfast is not ok, internet dropped for 2 days and nobody did anything plus it's a bit noisy from the traffic. There is no gym and the pool is a joke
