  Best!

  Quite and cute little hotel quite high up the mountain. Small but practical rooms with everything you need! Breakfast was great with the best eggs! Walking distance to Sakka slope (although a fairly steep hill to walk up to get back!) ... but the thing that sets this hotel apart from all the rest is the family run service! Nothing was to much... restaurant bookings, calling taxis, shuttling us around where ever we wanted to go! Also the best indoor and outdoor Onsen.... free to use for those staying at the hotel but also popular with those not staying (but have to pay for use!) Would definitely stay again if we came back! Sofie would love to see little Azu again!

  hakuba ski trip 2020

  had an amazing time! stayed last year closer to the centre & was concerned this was a bit further away but turned out it was even more convenient with the ski shuttles and night buses - shuttle buses stopped right outside hotel! hotel shuttle went back and forth to sakka lift (5min walk) so that with the ski shuttles picking up outside the hotel, it was very convenient access to all the resorts, incl happo one, hakuba 47 etc. the hotel staff were amazing, the hotel had all the essentials including a good breakfast plus they had an amazing indoor/outdoor onsen. a lovely lounge and bar area for sitting around the fireplace - the in house menu was good for both food and drink. laundry and drying room was available, and can book tours - we did an amazing day out for the snow monkey/ local temple tour, which was amazing & had hotel drop off and pick up. overall, i highly recommend this hotel - we had a wonderful time and cant wait to come back next year. hotel staff were amazing and went out of their way to be so very helpful!!

  Fantastic staff and a wonderful hotel

  The onsen was gorgeous. The staff were outgoing, friendly and very helpful. The location was close to the Happoone slopes and the breakfast was particularly good. My favourite part was the onsen after a day of snowboarding.

  Friendly hotel with great onsen

  Located in Wadano with a free hotel shuttle service to drop off/pick up close to Sakka ski lift. Also free pick up and drop off to the bus terminal on arrival and departure. It was handy to be the first pick up on the courtesy buses (right at our doorstep) to ski at other resorts in the area. There are 3 night shuttle buses to take you into surrounding areas for dinner etc. The hotel has 5 floors. Our room had 2 large twin beds with a private bathroom, toiletries, fridge, electric jug, slippers and robe for onsen. Unfortunately no wardrobe or drawers to unpack suitcase, but supplied 4 coat hangers on wall. Room is only serviced on request, but you can help yourself to clean towels in the hallway. Free wifi available throughout hotel. There is a drying room for skis and boots only. We used the washing machine and was able to hang our clothes in another drying room. Ski clothes are not allowed in there. So we had to hang them in our room (on the supplied 4 coat hangers). There is an inside and outside onsen (male and female separate) plus a sauna on one side. They alternate with male/female days to have turns in the sauna. Western buffet breakfast is very good. Ground floor has a lounge/dining area with fireplace. Dinner menu available plus bar service. The staff are helpful and polite. They help with booking other restaurant reservations and phoned the company for me to book the snow monkey tour. There was a farewell wave on our departure.

  This is the BEST hotel in Hakuba

  The room is so clean and comfy. The location is also very great, there are lots of nice restaurants around! Most importantly, the staffs here are so friendly and helpful! Ms. Yuika is so cute and pretty! I will definitely stay here every time when I visit Hakuba!
