  Pleasant staff, great homely dinner

  A nice family run three-star hotel located in the small town between Porto-Vecchio and Bastia. We stayed here for one night in room #206. For one night it was quite ok. Ivan at the reception was exceptionally friendly and polite, additionally he speaks very good English. The dinner was really a nice surprise. We ordered king shrimps and cannelloni. The food was perfect and we paid less than in most of the other places on the island. Dinner for two with beer cost us 40 euro. The atmosphere in the inner courtyard is relaxing and homely, so coming here just for lunch or dinner is also a smart thing to do. Oh, and the breakfast was also unexpectedly great for a three-star hotel. There is a public parking in front of the hotel, but it is closed on market days and on other occasions. If it is closed, ask the staff, where it is possible and safe to leave the car. All in all, 100 euro per night for B&B was a decent price, although the room was plain and somehow dull. The bathroom was clean, however the shelves in the wardrobe were very dusty. There is also a lot of noise and light from the street, so we slept with windows shut and blinds down.

  No recomendable

  Solo miran por su interés económico. No es un hotel recomendable ni para una noche. Los precios pueden parecer atractivos pero no compensan el mal servicio y el personal tan desagradecido. He dado la vuelta a Córcega en 15 noches y este es el peor hotel de todos.

  Dependance with moldy smell

  We spent 9 hours just to sleep. Unfortunately we were in the depandance of the hotel (an old coiffeur shop!!!). Its charateristic was the strong moldy smell; I do not know how it is permeted to guess people in this sad place. Price incredibile high.

  Awful family room

  We have booked a room for 4 persons. We got a family room in the building next to the hotel. The room was awful and had a terrible smell. We complained about the room the same night we came. Girl in reception was sorry but she couldnt give us another room before the next day. The day after the wanted to give us a another room in the same building. No thanks then we would rather check out than stay than smell. That we could do but we have to pay for all 3 days even we only stayed 1 night. After long talk, we ended up with two rooms in the main building. Girls in reception were nice and tried to help. The manager wouldnt come to the frontdesk. If you book here make sure not to get a room in the building next to the hotel. It smells and its a very sad and boring view to the backyard. See photo

  great hotel in ghisonaccia

  we stayed here twice during an extended bicycling tour of corsica. although the published time for checking in was limited, both times we were able to get into our room early, which was very nice considering we were on a bicycle. the staff was welcoming. our room was very clean, with a nice bed, terrace, drying rack for our laundry, hair dryer, TV, and AC. the breakfast was very good, with croissants, eggs for cooking in the shell, yogurt, fruit, juice, meats, cheese, and coffee. the pool looked very nice, but we did not use it. we would definitely stay here again if we were to return to corsica.
