  Poop on the bed

  We didnt receive a password for the internet. Hair dryer didnt work. Key cards stopped working halfway through the night. Candy wrappers on the floor. But worst part??? There was human feces on the bed that the maids made up all nice! Stuck my hand in it before I realized it. Wasnt even offered a new room. I was given a sorry about the poop heres a new cover. Paid for two rooms and none of us were able to sleep! Do NOT stay here.

  Not Good

  Stayed for two nights due to a death in the family and we had to take our dog. Best thing was they let us take our dog. Floor had wrappers on it and we just cleaned then up ourselves and then we found food crumbs. There was nothing but prepackaged pastry and coffee for breakfast, that's not breakfast. There was a strange odor in the hall. TV sets in lobby and fitness center "didn't work". Stay somewhere else if you can. Yuck!

  Super 8 Horror

  This was a very bad experience that we had while staying at the Wyndham Super 8 motel in Anna IL. Staff was friendly and very helpful, but the rooms were terrible. We were very inconvenienced during our one night stay. Because we are in a pandemic, I would think that Super 8 would take extra precaution to ensure that the room are properly cleaned and disinfected. They did have coffee and rolls for breakfast.

  Worst hotel Ive ever stayed in

  The rooms were filthy and we could tell they hadnt been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time. There is definitely criminal activity going on in this hotel, and there were a couple sketchy characters milling around. On top of that, we barley slept because the people above us and beside us were so loud from midnight to about 3am, and the front desk wouldnt do much about it. Stay in a tent before you stay here, youll sleep better.

  Horrible "Hotel"

  Booked hotel room for $44 with rewards points. Drove 3.5 hours to stay one night for an event in the area the next day. Had done this previously 3 times with no issue. After checking in, we went to sleep at 9pm only to be awakened by first our hotel phone ringing (which was promptly ignored, given the time) then my wife's cell phone. Someone has screwed up and given us the wrong room and was now telling us we could either switch rooms on the spot or be charged almost $200. I won't get into the unpleasantries we had to go through with the front desk, but by 11:30, we had checked out and drove another 30 minutes to a different hotel in Carbondale. We were still charged the almost $200 anyway and now have to seek a refund through Super 8 corporate. We never had any illusions of the quality of hotel this was...it's a 2-star facility. But this is, by far, the worst hotel you could stay at in the surrounding area. It's dirty, smells like an ashtray, and apparently, will screw you out of your room hours after the fact to cover their employees' mistakes. Just pay a little more or drive a little further and save yourself the hassle. To be blunt, this place sucks.
