I really wanted to 5-star this placeThe hotel is at the nicest spot ever, they have a private beach that's like a time machine to the blue lagoon and it's managed by the nicest people! Here is what went wrong. Pros - The hotel is situated close enough to Limeni and Gythio but without the hassle of living in a busy city. So you can drive for lunch or dinner. - If you want to relax you won't find a better place. It has a private beach with amazing sun loungers. You can sit there all day and enjoy the beach. I haven't stayed at a beach for that long as I did here - Most staff are the nicest people. The ladies at the reception, the staff helping at the beach. Really nice guys. I wish I knew their names but yo be frank everyone was really nice to us. Cons So I have two main problems with the hotel. - Dinner is just not worth it. The restaurant is by the pool but the menu is the same as what they serve earlier in the day which is really snacks and sandwiches. They also have a dinner menu but it's not worth it. If the hotel managers are reading this, there are other hotels in the area that bring top chefs every night. At the end of the day if someone is reserving a table for dinner they aren't really expecting sandwiches right? - Because of Covid they bring breakfast to your room every day including coffee. I got my coffee the first day but because it was obviously sitting on some tray forever the coffee was stale so I decided to just go to the bar the next day to grab my coffee. As I got there at around 9 there were 4 staff including the barman. I asked for a cold coffee and he said that he is making the coffees for the breakfast trolleys. I thought that was strange as he wasn't really doing anything but anyways I asked if I can wait to make one for me at which point he asked me to come back in 3 hours. I checked out that day.

SIMPLY AMAZINGI can't say enough for the hospitality offered by the hotel Manager Antzela and her amazing team ! Even when they, as hotel staff, were tackled by this pandemic, they were professional and warm. They made me and my fiance feel more than welcome and safe! I enjoyed everything, from the delicious breakfast boxes that were delivered to our room, the beautiful beach, the spacious poolside, to generally how clean, fresh, and safe everything feels there. I am already planning my next visit there so see you soon !

It can be sooooooo much better with the right management!Let me start by saying that the location is outstanding: on a bay where there are no other hotels, and only another beach where few people go to, mainly because it is rather remote. The building is new, and some of the staff: Georgia at reception, Kostas, Yorgo and Georgina as waiters... were absolutely wonderful! They listened to our needs and made sure to make our stay as good as possible. However, the management is not at all up to par: no one checks if the beach beds are clean or not (we had to ask them to do it every morning! Wouldn't the manager take a hint and make sure it is done after the third day? After all everyone in the hotel comes to the beach most of the day. The fact that they served breakfast in boxes with plastic forks and knives, because of covid doesn't make sense at all because they serve lunch and dinner at the restaurant with proper plates, cutlery etc! Whoever thought of doing this needs to go back to hotel management school because it is much more time consuming for the staff than having a buffet that a waiter can serve from as they were doing in other hotels during Covid in Greece. The rooms are fine but unfortunately we were given room 001 which is a handicap room where the shower is the whole bathroom so after you take a shower the water is everywhere! And there are no outlets in the bathroom to do your hair, and no mirrors in the room to be able to use one of the outlets to do your hair! I looked at other rooms and found that some of them were much too small, and although the building is on a gorgeous bay, they have tiny little balconies which can barely contain a tiny table and two tiny chairs! On arrival our room had dirty rags in the bathroom and our pillows didn't have pillow cases on! And the menu is the same for lunch and dinner with the exception of 2 new main dishes at night, which at times, were both meat! Not really something a Small Luxury Hotel does! I am not sure how they received their SLH designation, but SLH should go check it before they decide which hotels they will designate as such. The food was tasty, but nothing Greek... which maybe we were not supposed to expect, but one does want to taste some Greek specialties. If you are staying more than a week, it becomes hard to have to eat the same thing most of which is salads and sandwiches on the menu, and only one dessert (a chocolate cake which was not that great - although the orange revani we had the first night (which was not available for the other 9 nights) was outstanding. I could see that Vasili is a good chef, but I am afraid he was not given enough freedom to be inspired, and might have been told to keep things to a very simple minimum as far as variety goes. I found out that Hotel Brain management manages the hotel. Maybe the owners of the building need to change to another management, or demand that Brain manages it properly. It is a pit, as it is a phenomenal location if you want total peace and quiet... m

Wonderful vacation experience!I've always preferred small hotels for the intimacy and personal attention they offer and the 100 Rizes Luxury Seaside Resort certainly typifies those qualities. The manager Angela greeting us always with a smile, is gracious, responsive and hands-on in going all out to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of every guest. Thank you so much Angela for being such a great host making our stay a wonderful experience to remember . Our best wishes!! SK

Small Luxury ParadiseThis property deserves 6 stars! Location, quality of WiFi (45 Mbps up/45 Mbps down!!!), friendliness of staff, COVID breakfast delivered to the room, truly a small luxury hotel of the world, location: It truly deserves a higher rating. I saw some rediculous reviews on here: people complaining about WiFi, breakfast delivered in boxes, location too far from a big town etc. Seriously these reviews should be banned immediately. Its COVID times! The staff take it very seriously, always wearing masks, even on the beach. No complaints at all. If you are looking for a super private small deluxe place on the sea side with large modern comfy beds and tastefully designed rooms with bathrooms, dont look any further.
