  Relaxing & Perfect Getaway

  My husband and I spent three amazing days at La Cheneaudiere. The space is beautifully designed, incorporates natural lighting, birch wood features, and the feel of being in the outdoors. The staff was also so wonderful. We had the best time here. This place is the place to be if you're looking for a quiet peaceful getaway. Highly recommend!

  Absolutely fabulous stay

  I cant rate this hotel and spa anything other than 5*. The attention to detail was second to none and the staff exceptional. The room was stunning - fittings and decor of the highest quality. The Spa was just amazing. Never seen a spa like it. Relaxing calm and chilling just what we needed. The restaurant was fabulous too. Food and service up there with the finest of restaurants. We will certainly be back and would highly recommend this establishment.

  Superior amenities , excellent place

  We spent 5 days and 4 nights at La Chenaudiere for a birthday, and were largely pleased by the amenities, a wonderful place to relax. From the Spa, The offering is large, from the hammam, the multiple saunas (barrel, pilotis and inside), pools, jacuzzi. The floatarium (at extra) is a fantastic pool hi in salt which allow you to .. float ..., but again , free access hammam, pools, sauna can give you the pleasure you need. Especially, in front of the threes, valley, mountains and village surrounding you. We enjoyed the hot stone massage in duo and this was the best moment for our relaxing sessions. Our room was at lobby level , newly refreshed , full of electronics , really nice with new wood on the floor, beautiful design. Terrace of the room is on the garden and very calm to allow you have a drink simply. From the personnel perspective, We loved their attentions , however , we feel they were sometimes loud, and very present. We could hear sometimes people mourning about their duties( a very french attitude , be ready!) . I would expect that this would be less visible to us . Luxury comes with privacy and discretion, i guess . Overall though, 4.5/5. Breakfast and lunch break are ok with a mix of local food (eggs, veggie), home made bread, and others . The buffet is full. maybe the hot water needs to be a bit hotter for the tea (couldnt get one in 4 days), and cofee deserves a best treatement, but the nespresso in the room made it anyway. Diner is a piece of art , and with 4 diners in the restaurant with the 3 plates formula, we could taste a good chunck of their offering, from raw salmon, foie gras, turbot(flat fish), ris de veau , and the desserts (try the soufflé , with original recipe of 1982). Absolutely delicious . My preferred mix would be raw salmon, the beef with Foie Gras , and chocolate/ strawberry mix (ganache) as desert, with a bottle of Pinot Blanc-Auxerrois (deliciously sweet but not too much). As a starter, Try the Bulles de La Chenaudiere as aperitif ; this is a sparlkling wine with a secret in it. We have been there before ( the secret drink of a restaurant) but this one wasnt known to me at all. We bought 2 bottles to make people discover . Another one you may want to try if you dare : a wine of Rhubarb (called crion des vosges) , a sweet wine ... non pesticide guaranteed (rhubarb does not need it vs grape) . Honestly , nowhere in the world you can find this one . Overall , this is a wonderful address which i would highly recommend but keep to people who are ready to appreciate the value of this kind-of-secret place , in the Vosges.

  Relax. Take it easy

  Our stay was grand. From check-in until checkout we felt like V.I.P.s. It certainly doesnt come cheap, but the rooms as well as the enormous Spa are well worth it. There is renovation work going on and that was the only small trouble we saw

  Great SPA Hotel

  The hotel is located in a very nice area.. It is in a small village.. The venue is great with a lot of pools and very relaxing atmosphere.. The SPA is superb and the team was very responsive and kind. The surprise was the lunch we did not know it is included- and the food was good!! It is highly recommended place for a short escape!!
