Fun fun funWe'll, we went to the Champagne area for a few days And didn't booked anything in advance. Being in Epernay we hear there's a champagne convention so all hotels would be full. We contacted our TomTom and it gave us this in the option list. We were in a very very good mood these days and saw the whole thing as a fun thing. The hotel reminds of a movie from the 70's. In those days it must been a high end/modern place. Did not take away our good mood: the staff was super friendly. We decided to stay another night to save us the hassle to look for another hotel. We could stay but needed to move to another room. The PINK room :-) the bed was a bit better but the room and bathroom again were very clean so no complaints at all. We had a good time, it's maybe dated and a bit expensive for what it is, but we had fun, it was clean and the staff was friendly. Oh, do read the review of the restaurant attached to the hotel... :-)

Plastic on bedThe staff was nice and really tried. But when you jump into bed and there is a rubbercover on the madrass you get scared. It also sticks like glue to your body and everytime you move it makes a lot of sound.

Reliable and welcoming. We have stayed at the Reine Blanche on a few times in the past. The welcome has always been warm. This time we had one of their superior rooms in the newer block which also contains the swimming pool. The room was more than adequate - but I felt that it could have had a few more power points. The hotel excels mostly in the restaurant. The restaurant is run by a friendly gentleman who has been in charge every time we have visited. It is a great feeling when you arrive to be recognised even though our previous visit was some nine months ago.The menu is not vast, but the quality is always good. We will be back.

Ok HotelThe rooms are big and our bathroom had been recently updated with a large shower which was great. The air conditioning wasn't very effective though. We had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to show up for check in. It advertises a jacuzzi and gym, be aware that it is 18 euro per hour to use it which we thought was overly expensive and no where on the website was this mentioned. The bar and pool table area was also closed for our visit.

Check your room. Two friends had difficulty climbing stairs so when I booked in January for a stay on 19 May I asked for two of three rooms to be on the ground floor. I was offered three on the first floor, which I reluctantly accepted. On arrival we were given one on the first floor and two on the second. When I complained The young man behind the desk said that they were full. I pointed out that I had booked over three months earlier. He said the confirmation had been made by the owner and he couldn't do anything about it. This caused considerable inconvenience. The rooms were OK, and so was the food. The restaurant is in the sister hotel next door. The price was higher than usual for that type of Logis hotel, but I guess they take advantage of being in the champagne area, with big demand from visitors to the vineyards. The hotel is in the town centre. The picture of a vineyard is misleading
