  Perfect for my 2 nights stay in Nagasaki

  Booked 2 nights stay in Casa Noda and I couldn't be any happier. Location was perfect! Only 1 tram station away from the Nagasaki Station and the room was clean and got all the basic necessities. The hostel is on the second floor, so if you are bringing luggage, you will need to do a bit of walking up the staircases. Simple daily breakfast is provided and bunk bed was spacious to me. I booked the lower bunk at the Mix dorm room. Got a window view of the town area.

  Value for money

  Stayed at the superior room. Very clean and very accessible place in Nagasaki. The tram station was just across the hostel while the bus station from outside Nagasaki was 10 minutes walk away. The hostel has a big balcony with hangers provided for your laundry. Friendly staff who also speaks English. Free bread and jam + coffee and tea for breakfast. Only concern is no elevator and you would need climb to 3rd floor where the reception is.

  Dirty

  I have just stayed for 2 nights. That was enough and I couldn't to leave. I based my booking on the great reviews on Hostelworld and Trip Advisor. I have no idea how this place has such great reviews. Firstly, reception is on the 3rd floor with no lift. There is only one staircase in and out of the hostel. My female dorm, #301, was just outside of reception. The dorms are accessible without ever passing reception so anyone can walk in off the street. Regardless of a sign on the door saying to lock it, I left the "cleaners" in my room at 10am and when I returned at 7pm, the door was unlocked. I was the only one in the dorm so could only have been the staff that had left it unlocked the entire day. The room was dark and dingy. Some of the walls had been painted by the bed, mine, #8, had not. It was disgusting and dirty. When I laid down i noticed I had the contents of someone's nose hanging from above my head. It is located near to the train station which is great, however the tram line is directly outside and is extremely noisy. The staff are really unfriendly and don't even acknowledge you. As I sat in the lounge area, on the cream sofa, I noticed little bugs crawling accross it. This is by far the worst hostel I have stayed in in Japan. I would recommend you look elsewhere. I would never stay here again.

  Good place

  Good place to stay. Curtains for privacy in the dorm. Clean place. Good WiFi. Helpful staff. Free breakfast (toast, jam, coffee). I just wish the prices would be more affordable for backpacker's. Awesome hammock to hang around and have a nap :)

  Very clean, good facilities and lounge area.

  Stayed at twin bedroom, with Nagasaki port view. Very clean and location was accessible to tram stations. They provided simple breakfast and the lounge area was cozy, with many hand written info about Nagasaki for tourists to read. Can get discount with staff if going to Nagasaki Ropeway to see the top 3 night view from around the world. Pantry supplies were sufficient. One little thing, I wish they had lift instead of having the walk 3 flights of stairs with luggage.
