  First ryokan and onsen experience, wont be the last.

  We had reservations about this ryokan and onsen experience. However, after this trip, we are sold. Dining experience is particularly impressive, rare outside Japan. Given the rural settings, this turned out to be an ideal holidays for relaxation, affordable luxury and best of all private dinning for every meal. Couldn't ask for more.

  Always meet expectation

  Hotel staff service is great, They are always with good smile and speak good English. Our room is spacious and with good design, so our stay was very comfortable. We enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast. They were very tasteful which really worth to choose to include in the package. The latern light up in the outdoor area next to the library is also very attractive We chose a room with no onsen and thus went to the public one. It was comfortable but the open onsen is just fine with not big surprise.

  Great relaxing hotel, if a bit pricey

  My wife and I had a great day here. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Hotel feels new and very well kept. Room was big, comfortable and clean. Onsen was clean and enjoyable. Only two things let it down: hotel does not have a pickup shuttle service from the Kaga train station, and the restaurant for dinner and breakfast is fair to average.

  Top notch hotel in small onsen town

  Very nice small onsen resort. The rooms are not big but exceptional, with private outdoor onsen. The bed is mattress. To be honest I love Japanese style tatami but futon is not as comfortable as mattress. Food is nice. Overall comfortable boutique onsen, new and comfortable. Hoshino group does not disappoint.

  Lovely Hotel

  We stayed for two nights at this hotel and would thoroughly recommend it. The food in the evenings is fabulous and the service is first class. Our room was big with a nice sitting area and the outdoor bath was cool! We didn't have the Japanese breakfast and there was no Western alternative, which is a shame but it's a small thing.
