  Lovely hotel, awful for wheelchairs!

  We returned yesterday from this hotel. Firstly, the hotel and grounds are beautiful. Staff and animation team very friendly. I asked way before we arrived if the hotel was wheelchair friendly and was told it was. Believe me, its not! We were located in a nice disable friendly room between the pool and beach. What we didn't know was that there were 2 huge hills we had to navigate. If it were just the two of us we would have been really stuck. Luckily we were with 4 adult children but believe me, it was still extremely difficult going up and down to the hotel at mealtimes. We missed breakfast on 8 out of our 10 day holiday because of this. Lunch was in the beach bar and because of COVID was served to us. The queues were unavoidable because of this but still an extra few staff serving would have minimised the queues. It wasn't quite organised for example if you wanted a burger on abun it was necessary to queue twice, once for the burger and again forthe bun and salad. The food was the same every day so we had to eat our evening meals out every evening. You could always get something to eat but with the trek yo the restaurant, the queueing, hubby being in a wheelchair and the heat it was much more comfortable to eat in one of the restaurants close by which were very welcoming and very reasonably priced. I realise that this year is difficult for everybody but all in all we enjoyed our time at The Horus but will not be returning. A beautiful hotel though.

  Overall filing: Like we Live in Jail Nothing of this is Turkish hospitality! ( All staff were contamination, everything from previous years was gone, just Like CoVid did it ) No smile, no good word, not a typical working ( like a Bees ) I know that all starts whit management, but this Different and tough for all Holidays sector all over the world, They decided to reduce waters ( no one served drinks ) and just tree people cleared tables for a full restaurant ( in most customer did it at selves) We have been in 15 plus hotel last 12 years in Turkey and NEVER fell like I am an enemy and the "cooks" that "plate Us, were angry when you wanted more or different what they decided ( like We are guest in their home and they feed us for free ) The food does not have anything common whit a typical Turkish resort!!! There is no baklava, no kaimak, no typical homemade food, dolman, burek. We pay for ULTRA, and here is all Minus ( just local beverage) All the meal were whit no passion, low quality, no variety I think you will lose a lot of people for the next coming years. Everywhere around us, everyone talking for that I gave you feedback now It was a big mistake to open like this We understood the situation, but If you cant provide normal human spending....now We are losing ( you absolutely ruined our holidays, that we waiting since that virus overcame ) The area and our beach room were really good and were obvious that the hotel use to be luxurious, now is...like before bankruptcy They (The management) wanted extra money for everything that is typically free in that type of Hotels ( 5*, Ultra ALL ) -WiFi is free just 250 MB ( after that extra ) -Fresh just is paid -No important alcohol _Nothing like nuts or chips -In minibar day lust water -No jug for tea in the room -No alcohol beverage was instant or draft We are sad, frustrated, and disappointed Wanted to support your country but receive nothing :( ( We paid the same money as previous years and exactly how much they wanted ) For the AND the QUESTION steys: WHY? WHY you opened ???

  Good...

  Good hotel, nice animation especially Freeman Ella Erdinc and Dalila. Food was good, activities were also nice. And they have 6 pools so enough choice. We also had a nice room for a really good price.

  Great hotel and fantastic people!!!

  This is the best place if you want to have a great time on your vecation. For couples they have fantastic rooms with sea view and incredible animators. People are incredible fantastic. I really like the food and great pools in garden.

  I like the hotel.

  The hotel is very nice, beautiful views and the rooms are lovely. The entertainment staff (Elvis & Ella) are amazing, they are both so welcoming and have made our stay very enjoyable. The hotel food could be better but apart from that, our stay has been great! The beach is a short walk away and there is lots to do.
