  Buen lugar, pésimo servicio

  Las instalaciones y la limpieza son muy buenas, los paisajes hermosos; lástima que tengan un servicio tan deficiente. El personal no fue nada amable, ni acomedido, el wifi lo cobran y el room service muy malo, no hablan buen inglés y son muy poco amigables.

  Espectacular

  Un lugar tranquilo, con bellos jardines. Salones para eventos. Senderos para caminar, habitaciones bien decoradas. El restaurante con auténtica comida Thai, mucho sabor. El personal muy amable y servicial. También tiene una granja de animales y plantaciones de plantas exóticas.

  Huge resort, lush gardens needs some improvements

  This resort is huge and extremely private (keep in mind would be very very hard to keep maintained perfectly..therefore I'm not touching on the small maintenance issues or cobwebs etc). Even with 200-500 people it feels empty which is nice for a change. Staff are lovely and try their best always smiling. There are 3 pools, one is quite hidden and we remained there for most of the day. The gardens are enormous (think of a miniature city and takes 1.5hrs just to walk), many lakes and lots to see...highly recommend for a morning stroll before it gets too hot. The room is nice and the restaurant does its job. A few things for improvements: pls put mosquito spray in each room as there were so many in our room (once sprayed it was fine), beds are hard, security box's battery dead...the petting zoo is absolutely unnecessary and some of the animals looked unwell (ostriches in particular). Why not let the peacocks and smaller birds roam the gardens freely...that would make the ambience so so much nicer. Once you get past the shock of the first nights mosquitos it's extremely peaceful here. The owner should consider turning this place into a yoga, beauty, health retreat as it's so vast, secluded and relaxing.

  Ghost hotel - they did their best

  We arrived to a deserted hotel, we saw two other guests in our first few days. The owner spoke with us and apologised for the reduced service / facilities. Due to the Covid - 19 outbreak the majority of guests cancelled. The grounds were lovely, plenty to see and explore. The ponds were low due to the current drought. The zoo on site is my only criticism; Thai deer, ostrich, water buffaloes, camels, peacocks etc in small cages / enclosures. I dont believe this site needs to have these animals its certainly not a zoo and disappointing that these animals were there. Everything else was brilliant, the traditional Thai hotel rooms, great food from the one cafe area that was still open. Free shuttle bus into the night bizarres Several pools - we tried 3 different ones just for a change! Would benefit from some comfortable sun loungers and not just chairs. The hotel is clean, the rooms spacious and pleasant (bed was a tad hard for me and my old back) In a difficult time for the Thai people they tried to make us as comfortable as possible. I would stay again but 3 nights max (we booked 13 nights with a plan of flying to Myanmar, however due to Covid - 19 we stayed put) Worth a visit especially if you dont want the constant hustle and bustle

  A peaceful haven less that thirty minutes from the beautiful city of Chiang Mai

  This is an exquisite hotel just outside Chiang Mai. It is set in a stunningly beautiful botanic garden which boasts an abundance of paths which wind past lakes, cactus gardens, orchid gardens and a variety of other horticultural delights. There is a different vista at every turn and it is easy to lose yourself in the spectacular beauty of this place. The hotel consists of six complexes of high quality, mostly single story accommodation with beautifully furnished rooms. Some are in the traditional Lanna style of northern Thailand and others offer more contemporary fittings. Most of the room complexes have their own swimming pool. This gives the impression of being in a small hotel while in fact there are a large number of rooms. There is a restaurant which provides a comprehensive menu of Thai and western food at reasonable prices. An excellent buffet breakfast will satisfy most tastes. There is also a spa that provides quality massage. Although the hotel is out of town a free one way bus is provided to the town centre daily, while a return shuttle to Chiang Mai's night market is scheduled every evening. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and are always ready to help with a smile. My wife and I have visited this hotel many times and have never been disappointed. We were here in late January to mid February 2020, just as the current health crisis was beginning to emerge and we were impressed by the attention to the well-being of the guests and staff that was applied by the hotel management. If you want a well appointed hotel in a peaceful setting with the facilities of a vibrant city a short ride away then this is the place to stay.
