  Excellent accommodation with wonderful views

  The view from this property is the star act, high above Stanley with a view which takes in the village, The Nut, Sawyer Bay, and Rocky Cape in the distance. The apartments have a full glass wall facing this view and it is a pleasure just to relax and watch the scenery, particularly at sunrise and sunset. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and very well set up with everything needed for a comfortable and convenient stay, including a washing machine & dryer. Breakfast supplies were generous and there were the usual mini-bar items for sale plus additional things such as frozen meals (sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge to find things open in Stanley). Other reviewers have mentioned a problem with seeing/being seen from, other apartments - Godfrey apartment is set furthest forward and does not have this problem. Check-in, at the Seaview Inn, was quick and efficient. I was lucky to be able to book a special 2 night price, so the tariff, considering the quality of the accommodation and the inclusions, was reasonable. Well located for a break in Stanley, or as a base to explore the north west of Tasmania, including the Tarkine area.

  Best views imaginable

  Without a doubt the best location in Stanley! Fantastic apartment in a brilliant location with an unparalleled view. Very well appointed internally too. The breakfast provided was delicious. We felt beyond spoiled.

  Simply the Best!

  As soon as we walked though the door, we knew we were in for a treat. We are regular visitors to Stanley (usually twice a year) and we have stayed at nearly all the accommodation available. Horizon Apartments are a standout. The wonderful view of Stanley, the luxurious robes, the spa with its mood lighting, the well-provisioned kitchen (real milk instead of UHT! Hooray!) and the comfy bed are some of the reasons we will be staying there again. Just wonderful. Horizon Apartments made our 30th wedding anniversary even more special.

  Just fabulous!

  We were looking forward to our stay in Stanley and weren't disappointed. It was an amazing apartment and we loved it. I think everything has been said previously but I'd just like to thank Clint for his great communication and advice during the booking process with regard to the live music event on the Saturday night we were there. In the end, noise wasn't a particular issue for us but we were glad we were moved to the end apartment which is the most private of the 5. We loved the Tassie bubbly - thank you very much.

  Perfect place to stay

  We absolutely loved our stay here. The pictures don't do justice to view. It is spectacular, even of a night it was lovely to look over the lights of the town. The room was spacious, clean and modern and the spa was the perfect place to relax after a big day of sightseeing. We loved the kitchen and it had everything we could possibly want in it. The breakfast provisions were great. We had cereal, milk, yoghurt, toast, condiments and eggs and bacon. There was also a mini bar that you could purchase drinks/snacks from is wanted. The bed was very comfortable and so was the lounge. We stayed in the Cowrie room which was the very first one of the five. We will definitely return for another visit as soon as we can.
