    Very nice hotel

I would definitely recommend this hotel, the animation team (Rudy & Frederica) always did their best to make your stay as entertaining as possible with dance shows, bingo, darts, etc. The food on the park was decent and the location is pretty good too, since it's next to the beach and a 10min walk from the city centre of mazaro de vallo!

Great hotel, friendly staff and well located

I went on a holiday with corendon to this fantasic hotel from 2 july till 9 july. I was a bit scared at first, travelling to an all-inclusive hotel all by myself. Thanks to the fantastic entertainers Frederica and Rudolf, it was easy to meet new people and have a holiday full of fun! The entertainment by day is morning gymnastics, aquagym, pool games, darts, dancing classes... In the evening there is live music, minidisco, bingo, karaoke, dance night... So there is plenty to do! The all-inclusive is well catered. You can eat at the buffet or choose the a la carte pizzeria, so there is plenty of choice what to eat. The pool bar is open from 10am till midnight so you can order all day drinks, the staff at the bar are really friendly and helpful. The receptionist Melania is always ready to help you if you have any questions and as well in case of problems she'll try to find a solution for you. The rooms are really great! Really spacious and very clean. You have airconditioning and a hairdryer at your disposal and the maid will change every day the towels and clean the room as well. The hotel is a max. 10min walk to the town of Mazara Del Vallo. It's a really beautiful town with lots of typical italian buildings. There is a big harbour because of it's known fishing culture. And the best of all is it's not too touristic, so you won't pay through the nose if you buy something to eat or drink outside the hotel. So, briefly it's a great hotel with really friendly and helpful staff and well-located. As well I wanted to say a special thanks to the entertainers Frederica and Rudolf for making this one of my best holidays! You're the best!

    Suited for Europhiles!

My wife and I choose Hotel Hopps as we wanted to go back to Italy for our fifth wedding anniversary and unfortunately due to Covid it was a bit cold at our honeymoon destination of Sorrento so ventured further south. Firstly, we arrived at Hotel Hopps quite late, it's over an hours drive from Palermo so I asked the receptionist if there was any food available and in my room there was a gorgeous selection of cold meats and cheese. Fabulous. The two restaurants include in the all-in deal should keep everyone happy. The main restaurants serves sea food and other delicacies but the grill not only prepares fantastic pizzas (in amazingly fast time) but also paninis, burgers and hot dogs. And if you're all inclusive, you can order as much as you want! The staff are attentive and I imagine they've had a dreadful season but still seemed cheery. Anna Maria who organised my transfers to and from the airport (I hired a car once in Rome, never again!) is a total professional although perhaps needs to keep an eye on implications of email ;). The animation team, which I've seen other reviews praising, is great for the kids. But if you find games like 'catch the falling stick' amusing, I'd probably seek the advice from a mental health professional. The title of this review is aimed at Brits who may desire the comfort of fellow countrymen on their holidays. The hotel was full of Dutch people who have been put the mill due to Covid. One couple I spoke told me this hotel was their fourth choice as countries kept getting banned from travelling to by their government. Given my job, I like speaking to people from other cultures and found plenty of really interesting people to chat to. Some have good English, some have none but I imagine their English is better than your Dutch! All in a great place for all the family and for couples of all ages (I saw a review saying it was full of elderly people and there were a few, mostly Italian but why is that a downside?). Would I go again?: Probably not but that's just because I'd like to see another part of the Island rather than anything wrong with the hotel. Rooms are ok, I won't debate the star rating system as I don't understand it but I've stayed in Intercons and this isn't like that. But who cares. Good food and fun after a terrible year.
