  Quiet and Cozy

  The Homewood Suites is tucked right behind a few corporate offices but don't let that stray you away. The rooms are large, clean and cozy. The staff is extremely helpful and warm. The breakfast filled me enough to get through my workday. The TVs could use an upgrade but other than that I will gladly stay here again on my next trip to Rochester.

  Excellent stay

  Hotel was very clean, staff at check in was great...very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Didnt like that the fitness center wasnt avail 24 hours but it was a good facility. We enjoyed ourselves

  GREAT VALUE!

  Not perfect or amazing but you'll really get your money worth here. It's a bit outdated and the breakfast was very good, but room cleanliness and overall convenience\comfort was beyond standards, especially for the price!

  Good value

  I just recently went, I checked in On July 27 and checked out July 28. The Hotel staff was nice, helpful and courteous. When we got to the room everything was clean and nice. However, they do need a new mattress because when I sat on it, it sank to the middle of the bed. Not only that as I slept I felt like I was bit and the next day I woke up with four bed bug bites!!! It was room 119 please don't sleep in there.

  Not up to usual Homewood Suites wuality

  We recently stayed one night. The hotel is in an easy to get to location off the thruway and has a ton of restaurants and stores nearby. We typically like Homewood Suites because of the kitchenette and extra space as a family. The front desk workers were efficient and courteous. This one is in desperate need of some TLC though outside of the lobby area. Our room door had to be strongly pushed or pulled shut to latch. The room cleaning was meh, which I can normally overlook a little, but when supposedly cleaned diligently due to covid, it shows corners are still cut. Hair in the sink, dishes in the dishwasher, mold on the vents of the wall HVAC thing. The hallway carpets were dingy and on the first floor incredibly stretched out so that they were wavy and lumpy. The mattress felt old as you could feel the springs. The wood fixtures like the vanity and dresser and other furniture were in need of freshening up of the finish as they were banged up in the lower areas. Even a wipe down of a tinted furniture oil would spiff them up from wear and tear. There are a lot of other similar hotels in the area so if we return, wed likely pick another.
