  Quick trip

  This place is definitely not up to Hilton standards. I understand all is crazy with covid 19. We checked in to find out toilet not working. We were told they would send someone. 45 mins later still no one. With three kids. My husband went down to the front only to have housekeeping send us a plunger to fix it ourselves. This is unacceptable. I am posting pictures of the plunger we received. (Not sure why like this. We dont want to know). And the stains on the couch. This is the quality of this hotel.

  ROACH MOTEL by Hilton

  At first the rooms looks very nice and roomy...until you see ROACHES! Adult Roaches, Baby Roaches, Roach Eggs (that weren't there the day before) NASTY NASTY NASTY NASTY Cob webs in corners of the room, dirt and dead roach under the bed, dead roach beside refrigerator, under the bed and beside the refrigerator looks like it hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in years It took hours to go through all of our stuff to make sure we weren't bringing any nasty guests home with us...and when staff knocked on the door I told them they didn't seem to be concerned or shocked we had the issue...I even heard the manager over the walkie talkie making fun of us for staying over our check out time because we haven't left yet. Why didn't we leave on time? because it took hours to sift through EVERYTHING that was in our room. I have stayed at several Hilton Properties and others, and this is by far the worst stay we have ever had in my entire life of traveling. SO NASTY! I am just hoping we didn't bring any roaches home with us.

  Good hotel

  Booked a room here as we needed a night in the Charleston area. This hotel is conveniently located near some restaurants and shopping, including a Harris Teeter grocery store. Room was clean and waiting for us with no issues at checkin. Everything looks great and we're very pleased.

  Great service and location

  We stayed for a romantic weekend at Homewood Suites by Hilton. It has Restaurants, shopping and a beautiful running trail in waking distance. There is also a road to the beach and we run there - there are cars coming by but plenty of space to run or cycle to the beach and the beach is magnificent! Also the service of the hotel is great. I lost my glasses and they went out of their way to find it and then contact me back! I would absolutely go back. Also love their room - modern, clean and huge!

  Almost perfect repeat stay

  VERY minor issue kept me from giving this property a perfect score. We stayed one night and the room was immaculate with lots of disinfecting wipes throughout the room and TV remotes in plastic. Checked out as we went to Savannah for a night, then checked back in for another 3 nights. This particular room, while still very clean, did not have any wipes in the room (we had our own), the remotes were not wrapped, and the ottoman in the room has tears. Yes, very minor details, but the ottoman could have been a simple repair. Again, room very clean and really that is the most important thing nowadays. Breakfast is no longer the buffet due to covid, but very nice ladies in the morning will serve you hot selections and there is juice, and milk as well as self serve coffee and tea in the breakfast area. Grounds are nicely kept but we did not use the pool. Property is set in an outdoor mall and there are ample dining and shopping choices including a Harris Teeter grocery store if you wish to take advantage of your full kitchen. This is my normal go-to property when visiting Charleston as downtown is a quick drive away. Will certainly choose again next time visiting charleston and savannah.
