  Sheets not clean... This is an absolute distrust...

  The sheets were not clean, which caused me to go to the front desk multiple times. I had to make the bed and i didn't sleep well knowing the sheets were not changed in this hotel. I had homework and could not complete it due to the several trips to the front desk. The guy at the front desk was alone and could not bring the items.

  Overall Excellent Experience

  Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and roomy quarters, with a fully functioning kitchen. It's the best hotel experience I've ever had in the US. The location is very convenient for anyone going to the Prometric testing center, which is only a few minutes walk away. There is also a large number of restaurants and shops in the area if that's something you're looking for in your trip.

  Very comfortable stay!!

  Only wish they had a darker beer. But other than that the stay was great. I stayed for four days and enjoyed every second of it. I was able to have breakfast and dinner while not having to go far......

  Just Not Clean

  We stayed here two weeks ago while I worked in Tyler. We checked in on a Sunday evening. Overall, the place was just not quite clean. The workout room, which my wife used, had no sanitizer on two separate days. The washing machine area was, well, filthy. Funny - my wife asked a cleaning lady for additional shampoo, etc (we did not allow anyone in while we were there) and she, at first, indicated she did not understand English. This changed when my wife started to walk away and mentioned the $5 tip she had in her pocket! The hotel itself is not in the best of areas for safety. The desk attendant at check-in was pleasant, but failed to inform us that the breakfast sandwiches and burritos in the freezer were complimentary. We learned this on our third day. Overall - there are better places in Tyler for the same price.

  Hilton Brands Always Have Friendly Staff

  Friendly staff, yes. Special mention to Lemesa and James. Wonderful people. This is more of a comment on the hotel industry than this specific location, although this location is included in the comments. We all know the "pandemic" has changed things. But, I've been on the road a lot for the past few months and there is considerable occupancy in the hotels in which I have stayed. Plenty enough to not be staffed to the bare minimum. There is enough occupancy to maintain a larger staff at this hotel. One or 2 people per shift is not enough. A previous comment about the fitness center is correct. Rarely are towels present and it is not cleaned on a daily basis. There was trash left outside of rooms in the hallway for 3 days. There was trash in the stairwells from a stay the previous week. I will say though that my room has always been clean upon arrival. How they have time to do that should be complemented. There is no way to get to all that needs to be done with minimal staff at a hotel that has always been at least 70 percent occupied during my stays. This not the Hilton way. There are good people working here. They need some extra bodies and support.
