  Como en casa

  Un hotel muy bien ubicado y confortable como en casa, puede uno comprar al frente en el Shopping Mall Galleria y estar siempre cerca del hotel, hay lugares cercadnos muy buenos para comer y es una zona segura para caminar afuera.

  Muy buen hotel y cadena. Servicio al cliente en mi idioma. Muy buena atencion, completo servicio, muy dedicado, definitivamente volveremos a utilizar esta cadena de hoteles. Muy contenta con la experiencia.

  Tired room, in desperate need of renovation!

  We stayed at the Home2Suites in STL on our way to Michigan and decided to try out Homewood Suites on our way gone. We figured with the location next to the Galleria wed be getting a nice property. I feel like our room is straight out of the 1970s with the browns, yellows, and oranges. The dining room chairs are filthy, the carpet stained, kitchen cabinet doors falling off. The room is also VERY loud from the street sounds and we were on the 8th floor. Would definitely never stay here again.

  TIP: Stay somewhere else...somewhere clean and nice...for the same price

  as others have said, it is old and that's ok, but it's dirty as well. Very worn stained carpet and furniture. I wouldn't sit on the furniture without putting a sheet over it first. It was so gross. The bed is hard. The heat system is broken in our room (both systems in both rooms) which isn't great since the temperatures are at 10-20* or lower right now in St. Louis-as well as being actually broken with the panel over the machinery being unable to be closed and is hanging open. The kitchen is adequate but the microwave is filthy with splattered food. While the bathroom appeared clean enough (to be honest, i was scared to look too closely), the light fixture is missing and naked flourescent bulbs and wiring decorate the ceiling. **added: this morning I was greeted by a 1 inch long cockroach-still alive-in the bathroom. There are stains all over the bathroom wallpaper (as shown in photos by other travelers). Pretty sure at this point Im real glad the breakfast is prepackaged in boxes and NOT cooked in this filthy place. A nice room at the St Louis Union station---a CLEAN room, a NEW room--costs the same as we paid here. If I was Hilton, I'd be ashamed to have my name on this dump. And because we are used to Homewood being clean, safe, higher-quality, I neglected to read the reviews before booking. That was a mistake I will not make again.

  Breakfast - go to IHOP

  I've stayed at three hotels during the pandemic. All of them offered breakfast buffets pre-pandemic. At my previous two stays, the hotels made changes to the breakfast, but still made an effort to provide an adequate meal. Both hotels offered at least a little hot food, some variety of other food and cold/hot drinks, and allowed guests to make multiple requests. Both hotels allowed guests to sit in the normal breakfast area. Not this place. We were offered a one-trip-only stingy bag, containing a bottle of water, a banana, and crackers. If a guest was assertive, the guest could also get one additional item, such as a package with two hard-boiled eggs. There was no hot food. There was no cereal. There was no milk. There was no fruit, other than the banana. There was no juice. There were no hot beverages other than regular coffee. The breakfast area was practically empty of tables/chairs, and I had to request that the lights be turned on. Fortunately, there is an IHOP nearby, where we went to have a "real" breakfast. This place needs to lower its rates, and either completely revise the pandemic breakfast to be more like the other two places I've stayed at during the pandemic (one of which was a Homewood Suites), or else provide a voucher for a free breakfast at the IHOP. The current "breakfast" is unacceptable. The pool and hot tub are not available to guests, adding insult to injury.
