  Kristen at the front desk is vey rude. Her attitude may be the reason I dont return to this property. I was a regular guest but am now considering my options due to her poor people skills. Everyone else at the property is very welcoming and polite.

  I love this place

  I went twice to this hotel. Rooms on the first floor has very high ceiling. However, my room also poorly insulated. I could hear the next door guest phone conversation.. The rooms on higher levels have standard ceiling and the rooms feels a bit smaller. Very very clean hotel room !

  Great suite!

  We stayed here on a trip driving about about 16 hours to coastal Carolina. I would highly recommend this hotel if it is anywhere near your route. Super clean during COVID with rooms even having a clean seal sticker before you go in. Very spacious rooms with full refrigerator and microwave and even a small stove. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great. Karen at the front desk was super nice and extremely helpful and it was very nice to have a business center too. I highly recommend this hotel!!

  Price Dispute

  I struggled with this rating because the room was nice and staff friendly. It ultimately was driven by the price I was charged for the room which was more than I expected. I was charged much more than the price I saw on the Hilton app. I asked for the AAA rate which was almost 25 dollars less that the rate I was charged. I was assured by the front desk that I did get the AAA rate so I went back into the app and found the same room for similar days of the week at the lower rate. I could not even find a rate that was as high I as was charged. The front desk associate said they would bring my concern to their supervisor and they would call me back. That did not happen. So based on this experience I decided I would not stay there again. Thus the low rating.

  quick weekend stay with daughter

  Room was reasonably clean (a few things under a table missed by vacuum), all staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, and contactless check-in/check-out were great. Everything, including bluetooth room key, was on the hilton app, so while they will give you a physical key if you request it, you don't need it and for me it was nice to have one less thing to keep up with. They've done a good job modifying their breakfast offerings due to covid precautions with grab and go items ranging from juice, yogurt, and cereal to bagel/cream cheese and hard boiled eggs in to-go boxes. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate also available in breakfast area. Hotel was reportedly pretty full, but was quiet and I never had to wait long for an elevator. Good-sized refrigerator in room, as well as microwave and what I think was a stovetop; I didn't open the cabinets, but I think they held cookware. Bed was comfortable and there was good water pressure in the shower. The gym has 3 treadmills and some other stuff, and is open 24 hours a day; was fortunately empty at the time I wanted to use it. There is a nice little shop corner at the front desk with assorted snacks and drinks for purchase, which is handy if you need a little ice cream and don't feel like going out anywhere. I am guessing that because of a sports tournament over the weekend, the rates were elevated and they converted to a "2 night minimum stay" requirement, which is somewhat annoying but I guess driven by local supply/demand. We would stay here again without hesitation!
