    Pros Nice rooms Look very new Large workout facility Laundry room Cons Even though hotel is only at 40% occupancy, they did not upgrade me to a better room. I am also gold member Did not advertise that hot breakfast and cocktail hour would not be served during Covid. I certainly understand this but shouldve been advertised. I stayed in other Homewood suites and they all offered this service No coffee Being served!

    Go To Hotel When Visiting the Bay Area

    Ive stayed at this hotel several times in the past and always enjoyed it. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. When we checked in this time the Desk Clerk explained all the Coronavirus precautions and what services were offered or not offered at this time. Hot breakfast were not offered but they did have yogurt, muffins, juices, bagels, cream cheese and other assorted food items in the morning. I also like the fact that the room went empty for over 24 hours before it was cleaned using Coronavirus precautions and then sealed. The room and bathroom was very clean and the bed comfortable. We also used Lysol Disinfectant on all services when we checked in. All staff were wearing face mask and practice social distancing. I wouldnt hesitate to stay at the Homewood Suites in PH again.

    Fire Season, over capacity & under staffed-EXCELLENT CARE!!!

    The hotel was maxed out capacity as other hotels in a fire zone were sending their guests to this hotel. I was in town for 2 days and at the last minute, I booked the Homewood Suites not knowing the CA fire situation. The Hilton website showed availability and allowed me to book although, in reality, it should have shown the hotel was oversold. When I arrived after checking, a room was not ready and there were 4 other parties waiting for rooms to be cleaned as folks were leaving early due to wild fires. Brianna at the front desk was great at keeping calm despite getting calls, trying to help guests and myriad of other requests. The hotel manager was very visible to step in as needed but he was also trouble shooting/ problem solving other issues in the hotel with the hotels rapid and unanticipated influx of guests. It was understaffed but not deliberately so. They were staffed adequately if there hadn't been an influx dues to the wildfires and the internet allowing folks to book despite the fact the hotel was maxed out. Was I inconvenienced? Yes...but the situation was unanticipated, desperate and frustrating to everyone and the way Brianna and German, the General Manager handled the situation was flawless. Life happens and the world is imperfect and this is one of those situations that could have gone horribly wrong. It isn't the problem but how a problem is solved/ handled that determines awesome service or bad service. This was perfect service! By the way, I have been a diamond member for 12 years and have stayed in all Hilton brands across the world. I think I have a pretty good frame of reference to what great service looks like. This Homewood Suites experience was spectacular.

    Terrific Hotel!

    I SO wish I'd taken pictures of this place! We stayed two nights, early November 2020 and it was just great!. The lobby was clean and bright and welcoming upon entering. The staff was very friendly, professional and courteous, too. The room we had was simply wonderful! Room to move around - clean, well-lit, very nicely furnished and well appointed. The kitchen was SPOTLESS, the bed was VERY comfortable and the bathroom area truly felt almost luxurious with amazing lighting, THE softest, fluffy towels and a walk-in shower. I loved the desk/dining table for both eating and leisurely applying my make-up (I like to sit at my light-up mirror, brought from home) and though we really only used the fridge in the kitchen, I can only imagine how handy it must be for folks who spend several days to a week or more. I loved how the TV on the wall could swing towards the living area if that's where we were hanging out or over towards the bed if we were lounging - it was super handy! We spent lots of time at the home of a friend who we were in town to see - but I have to say it was a actually PLEASURE to come back to this room several times throughout the day and to rest peacefully at night knowing everything was clean and just SO well done. This room felt more like a super hip studio apartment! 'Community breakfast' looks different in these current times, but they really took care of everything here....wrapped fruit, prepackaged granola bars and pastries, bottled juice - it was very much appreciated as they could've opted out of providing anything at all ;-) Both my husband and I LOVED this place - we just might have to visit my friend more often just so we can stay here again!

    The Internet would be Better if it was Dial-Up

    I have been in the hotel since October 1st, 2020 and will be here until the middle of January 2021. Because of COVID-19, I understand the restrictions in place, and the hotel and their staff has handled that extremely well. My issue lies solely with the miserable internet speeds that I have experienced since the very first day. In a time where literally everyone is relying on internet, the basic speed is UP TO 5 Mbps. There is no negotiating with the staff to get upgraded speeds, even though a guest has booked 105 days at the hotel. When you do finally get to a Diamond status, and get free premium internet, it is only UP TO 15 Mbps. As a cybersecurity professional, and someone who relies on fast internet, these speeds are horrible. What is even more disturbing, this evening I was realizing download speeds 0f 480Kbps. The average home has 150Mbps. The hotel management really needs to consider upgraded their internet subscription to accommodate the guest who relies on the internet to do their job. Otherwise, I am mostly pleased with the hotel and staff.
