  Fun & Laid-Back Stay at the Homewood Suites Downtown

  Our group found this hotel to be very clean and well-furnished and GM John and his staff to be very friendly and welcoming during our extended weekend "bourbon country" tour in Kentucky. They were full of great suggestions for restaurants and attractions to visit, and truly made us feel comfortable and at home. The guest rooms were unexpectedly large and spacious as well, plenty of amenities! Would highly recommend this hotel for sure...

  Wish all of our hotel experiences were this great!

  Stayed here one night just passing through. The ladies at the front desk were SO nice and hospitable! The entire hotel was spotless! We loved our spacious room and the comfortable bed. It made for a great night's sleep! The next morning we had a dead battery and the gentleman at the front desk was super helpful and offered to let us stay in our room past check out while we waited for roadside assistance. We paid extra to park in the garage. It was safe and there is a security guard that drives through the garage all night. Would definitely stay here again. I wish all hotels were this nice and clean!

  WE WERE ROBBED

  We were robbed. This is how it started, we were on our way to Florida, left at 5:00PM on Friday from Michigan and decided to stop at 12:30AM in Louisville, Kentucky before driving another 8 hours to get to our destination. We left some luggage in the car parked at the the hotels parking garage at 120 S. Sixth and took our pijamas to Homewood by Hilton Suites where we spent the night. After waking up at 7:30AM getting ready and having breakfast, we checked out and took our bags (which contained our pijamas, laptops, chargers and phones) to the car, and as we opened the trunk we realized all of our luggage, food, toys, WINTER COATS (on 25 degree weather), and umbrellas were gone, all they had left behind was a box of instant ramen noodles and limes that we were taking to Florida. The glass window in the front passenger seat was shattered into pieces and there was glass all over the car. Homewood Suites by Hilton did NOT take any responsibility of such robbery and still made us pay $20 for our overnight parking, even when their website states their commitment to creating a safe and relaxing experience to their customers. Overall, as a very honest claim, if youd like to have all of your items stolen, your car broken into, and of course an awful customer service, you should go ahead and stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton. #hiltonsuites #homewoodsuitesbyhilton #robbery #stolen #parkinggarage #parking #parkinglot @homewoodsuites @hiltonhotels @hiltonhonors

  Best hospitality ever

  We were traveling through during covid, with kids, during a snow/Ice storm. Not fun. However, our stay here made it just a little bit better with the kindness of the staff and personal touches by Matt Clark (a great employee!). We always received a welcome and a smile (under a mask) and even crayons and coloring books for the kids (a huge thank you!). In a world where customer service sometimes lacks, this place is soaring above the rest. Thank you!
