Nice hotel/Poor StaffNoise, kids running in the halls/slamming doors at all hours. Staff notified with no change. Free breakfast had zero food due to large group and lazy staff. This is a staff issue not a hotel issue. Very nice property with the right staff.

Politically Motivated HotelWorking and traveling all day, I just would like to get a room and go to bed. I walk into the lobby here and they are expressing their political opinion with banners and posters of BLM, gay rights etc. I am 100% for people expressing their opinion but since when do hotels do the same? It is one thing if I ask the hotel staff their opinion on certain issues but to have it displayed like this is unprofessional. Do they want to hear everyones political stance once they arrive? Im sure the answer would be no. Neither do I want to hear their stance. If I want to know, trust me, Ill ask. I just want to book a room and keep it professional. I have been so sick of the political banter from MSM, Facebook, Twitter etc, that I have stopped using social media all together and stopped watching the news and what do I get now, my hotel expressing their political muscle as I walk into their lobby. Its unprofessional as a company to behave this way whether I agree with your views or not. As far as the hotel itself, I was extremely thirsty arriving and waited for the front staff to finally occupy the front. I asked for a bottle of water or soda, something. As a diamond with Hilton Honors, I offered that. Well they did not have any. He said they havent been getting shipments since the Covid. He finally found me one from back in the kitchen. How hard is it to go down to Sams Club and buy some water? This was a first. Virus or not, never been to a hotel that didnt offer water. The room was good. Carpets had not been vacuumed as there was bits of paper on the floor. All in all, I do NOT recommend this hotel. I do not need to know ones political affiliation once I step in the lobby. I will not be returning here.

Kind of disappointedWe stayed at this hotel for the weekend to get away. There is so much stress in life right now we just wanted a relaxing weekend. The first thing I see when we walk in to check in is nothing but politics. The room was great, everyone was very nice. But, I give this three stars because Im so tired of trying to do something relaxing to get away from everything and its nothing but politics everywhere I go. Im extremely disappointed that the Hiltons decided that blasting their political views everywhere was a good idea. Why cant we just keep politics out of it? I wont stay here again.

VERY disappointing!Had to spend 4 nights here to move our son into MSU and would not stay here again. It's funny how they have the hotel set up as if they are extremely coronavirus conscious: tables blocking front desk, plastic dividers for staff, bucket for keys, etc... Get to the room on our first night: no sticker on the door to state it has been sanitized (even though every other hilton has been doing this), partially used dish soap, partially used dishwasher soap, 2 sets of towels, kitchen floor with some substance on it. Just overall, a gross first encounter. No water for the gold members and when asked, front desk claims it's because they didn't receive any bags from hilton. WHAT? What does that have to do with anything? Not any other days get any better. When I ask that there be four towels in the rooms for FOUR people staying there, we continued to receive two towels. When asked why this kept happening, the staff replied with "that's the standard". Then WHY ask how many are staying in a room when we register?!?! I could go on and on but it's not worth my time. There are plenty of other hotels to choose from and that is exactly what we will do the next time we have to go to Lansing, MI.

Would not stay here again.I stayed one night in a king suite. Poorly set up, red sticky something on the carpet and on the tile, a piece of hair stuck to that red sticky something. This is almost like a party hotel. We had reserved the pool in the evening. Ready for my evening swim, I see the pool FULL of kids. And adults walking in and out with red cups.....openly talking about being intoxicated. The current Restrictions are maximum five people in the pool area at one time. There were 10+. The lack of Organization and care that the staff had was very disappointing. They did nothing about that situation. In fact, they kept my Associate and I waiting in our swimsuits outside of the pool area for almost 20 minutes. He kept saying that he was new here and didnt know how to handle the situation, so he was getting the manager. He also said he was on the phone, and forgot about us sitting there. I decided that it wasnt worth my time. Guests were in there past 10 oclock, & I quite frankly was pissed. So much for my enjoyable evening before a long day of work.... Is this a Hilton? Doesnt seem like it.
