  Management couldnt be better

  Had to stay on these difficult times and hotel was excellent! Rene the GM who seems to work 70+ hours is one of the best Ive ever had the pleasure to meet! Had vehicle troubles she help find a dealership in the area and made my stay great. Hotel is clean and very well kept. She help me find a great restaurant for carry out within walking distance and made everything on these tuff times bearable. Thank you Rene you are a gem and will stay at your property anytime Im in the area!

  Near major highways and restaurants, but quiet

  After a long drive across Missouri and part of Illinois, we arrived here late in the afternoon. During the last week of May, there were few of the regular hotel amenities (the happy hour, or the free breakfast) available, so my review omits those. That was not the hotel's fault. Check in was convenient. Parking outside was adequate. The hotel is sited on the periphery of businesses and strip-malls surrounding the Kansas City Speedway. There were several restaurants within a short walk, and others only marginally further away. Since it was still COVID season, none were yet open for dine-in. There was a Wal-Mart about 200 yards away up the hill in an adjacent strip mall. The rooms do not have stellar sound insulation. We could hear the couple in the neighboring room chatting (from when we checked in until after midnight), though we could not make out what they were saying (we didn't listen than hard...). Though the Raceway and its associated businesses are in one direction from the hotel, residential areas spread out on the other side. Traffic wasn't bad while we were there. It looked like a nice area for a walk, had time permitted that. Also, within 2 - 3 miles of the hotel is a large county park surrounding a moderately-sized lake. A loop road circles the lake, and many people seemed to be using that for walking / recreation. In all, I was not disappointed with this hotel (other than the aforementioned lack of breakfast). Since we were heading west, there was no issue with contending with any (eastbound) morning rush hour. Were we to visit the area again under more 'normal' circumstances, I'd consider staying here again.

  Lovely Hotel & Stay!

  Lovely hotel! New, clean, such a pleasurable stay. The rooms are a perfect blend of modern and efficient. Kitchen, sitting/living room, bedroom and nice spacious bath area. I was impressed! They had my bottled water ready and the breakfast was grab and go with a smile. I Hilton!!

  Good property, good location

  I loved the location of this property, and the hotel seemed new or recently upgraded. The rooms were very spacious, and clean. The mattresses were decent, but in my opinion not as good as ones from the Hampton Inns' that I have stayed in. I was very disappointed in the breakfast selections. With COVID I understand the need to be safe. However, just having a box of unknown pastries, and choice of small can of juice seems cheap. The front desk person was standing and monitoring the food, making sure you only took one. I love to have a bowl of cereal in the morning. How hard would it be to have a selection of individual boxes of cereal and cartons of milk available? It just seemed that they didn't want to offer a variety. Saving money I am sure during COVID, but I have been to other hotels, and they have found ways to make it work and still serve options. Left a poor taste (no pun intended) in my mouth as I checked out, after a good stay.

  Loved it!

  We stopped for the night and loved the room. The apartment sized refrigerator was handy as we were moving across country and had a full cooler. The kitchenette was nice to bring food in for dinner. The room was spacious and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and loved the walk in shower (but whoever hung the doors needed to buy a level). We plan to stay again when traveling through. A small boxed breakfast was available due to Covid. It was adequate and appreciated.
