  AC broke, No linens, Train Noise all night

  AC broke was broke in the living area., No linens for the pull sofa for the kids and the bed felt like a concrete side walk. Train horn Noise all night long every hour on the hour. I would not recommend staying here.

  Great experience

  Lisa, Jackie and "Cacilla" was so attentive, knowledgeable and kind. Check in to Breakfast was everything a hotel should be! Clean suite. Good breakfast with a variety of delicious food. Every employee contact we had was good. No complaints.

  Great Experience for a DEVESTATING occassion

  Me and my mother was in town for my aunts funeral. We arrived Last Thursday and checked out Sunday. Everyone was wonderful with the exception of one of the brekfast attendance that spoke to soon and was NOT observant. All of the front desk clerks was amazing very nice, curtesous, professional, concerned. Jeff waas my chek out agent and his smile can brighting up any dark room. The 1 bedroom suite was nice roomy and comfortable. Thank You for making this trip a little bit easier for us... 10 STARS

  Okay stay

  Covid times: No housekeeping, excepto toilet paper, soap, shampoo, towels placed inside the room. Overall a good stay in a bit hidden area of JAX. Parking is extra in a building next to the hotel. Basic breakfast. Spend 3 nights here

  Disgusting, Filthy Bath Tub - No Excuse for It

  My terrible rating is based strictly on the condition of the bath tub as there is absolutely no excuse for it being that way. Other than it, this property is your typical Homewood Suites with a couple of unique situations as mentioned below. We stayed in Suite 545. It appears a bit worn as obviously the hotel is an older property but we found it to be clean and well stocked with one exception. The condition of the bath tub is totally inexcusable. Unfortunately, I have encountered the same situation at other Hilton locations and other Hotel chains. The no skid surface on the bottom of the tub has an accumulation of guest body grease and grime build up over a long period of time due to housekeeping not cleaning and scrubbing it thoroughly and / or the hotel not using the proper cleaning chemicals. I do not have that in my own home so I dont expect it when paying to stay at an establishment, especially a Hilton. Plus, it is down right gross and unsanitary. We ended up putting towels on the bottom of the tub before we stepped into shower. We didn't insist on changing room since we had already unpacked. Plus, based on my extensive travel experience, I guarantee you that Suite 545 is not the only one that has this problem. See attached pics. Future guests should also be aware of a few things. First, the Homewood Suites is "merged" with a Hilton Garden Inn. They share the same pool but have their own separate breakfast areas. The annoying thing is that even though each was built with their own separate front desks, only the one in the Garden Inn is staffed; apparently to save money. Thus you must check in there and then walk to the other building which is connected on the ground level. Then, whenever you call the Front Desk you always have to tell them if you are a Homewood or Garden Inn guest as for some reason they can't tell when they answer the phone. Not a big deal but just a nuisance when staying there for several days or longer. Also since they are short staffed due to handling two hotels with one front desk, expect to make several calls to the front desk before anyone ever answers. Also, parking is in a garage which is across a driveway. There is no covered walkway between the hotel and the garage for protection from the rain. Lastly, the neighborhood around the Hotel does not appear to be well kept and would not be my choice to go for a walk or jogging out of concerns for personal safety. If I return to Jacksonville, I would seek out another hotel.
