  Hotel Nuevo.

  El hotel es nuevo, habitaciones muy limpias y confortables, closet para ropa un poco reducido, desayuno regular, observamos que falta fruta, el café muy bien. Personal amable. Muy recomendable el lugar.

  Great stay

  Great service and location. Many things to do nearby without hitting heavy traffic. Highly recommend plus there is a gas station right across the parking lot in case you prefer to buy snacks and drinks there instead of the hotel lobby. Social happy hour is also great and included complementary beer, wine and food for a couple of hours.

  Just stay away

  The complimentary breakfast was a awful - hot food was cold and things like milk and yogurt were room temp. They didn't clean up spills and the bed spread was like a 1970's leisure suit. Just stay away

  Clean Quiet Great Location

  In Houston, I stayed two nights in a 1BR King Suite at the Homewood Suites BW8 on Fallbrook Dr. The hotel is well-located off Sam Houston Tollway/Beltway 8. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed, linens, lamps and layout of the room were all very acceptable. The POOL was OPEN! We enjoyed the swim in the sparkling clean pool. You are walking distance to a food/gas station, and right across the street from a pizzeria, taqueria, donut & kolache shop, Subway, and chinese food all situated in a small strip center. The overall area is nice; mixed office, industrial, and residential area. We had a beautiful time there. The ONLY issue was that the smoke alarms were beeping in the room, which I was told maintenance would handle in the morning. Then in the morning I learned maintenance were not working during the COVID. The front desk gave me the option of removing the batteries from the alarms and as apology for the inconvenience allowed us a late check-out time which was acceptable. We did not take advantage of the current COVID way of providing a brown bag breakfast of muffin, yogurt, and fruit. Overall, a lovely weekend stay at this property and yes, I would definitely stay again.

  I recently had an extended stay at this hotel related to traveling for work. My review is a mixed review. On the good aspect, the rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious. They are all full suites so one is able to prepare and refrigerate food without issue. They have an excellent gym that was open and usable. They have onsite laundry facilities with good in-service equipment on the first floor. They did offer you a sacked breakfast and coffee. The bad aspects included no in room cleaning without request. I'm assuming they feel it is unsafe for housekeeping to be inside the rooms. However, without housekeeping people piled their trash everywhere outside of their rooms. The halls were full of trash bags and the trashcans overflowed with garbage. Therefore, instead of each room being exposed to one mask and glove wearing individual, we were instead exposed to one another's garbage. This seemed like a huge safety hazard. Upon arrival there was a sign on the pool stating that it was closed due to broken glass. The sign was still there 5 weeks later. Really????? While the sacked breakfast was better than nothing, I was accustomed to other Homewood Suites where they modified their buffet breakfast into a cafeteria style with a person preparing your plate for you. The other Homewood Suites also offered an evening meal served in the same manner. The others also maintain a 24 hour coffee bar complete with hand sanitizer. A guest was lucky if there was coffee available from 6:30-8am. At 8 am I got mostly grounds. During my stay there was a reported towel shortage, which led the housekeeper to enter my room and take my two towels. Yes, this was the answer. Take a guest towels to give to another guest and don't replace them with anything. So I had to go to the front desk to asked for replacements for something they took from my room when they were not even suppose to be in my room at all. I attempted to use their business center but there was a reported "paper shortage." Have these people heard of Wal-Mart? Its less than 2 miles away and they sell both towels and printer paper. The staff I encountered were all very nice and helpful but I seemed to have to search and seek them out. Rarely was there ever anyone at the front desk. The nightshift was always in the backroom. I like the concept of this hotel. I just wish the service had been better and that the services advertised and provided in other Homewood Suites had been available at this location.
