  Bed bugs!

  Found a bed bug night 2. They had me change rooms, and disinfected my clothes and washed them. THen the manager told me all the steps to do when I got home (put my suitcase in my dryer- it wouldnt fit! And clothes. They comped one night (not sure why the whole stay wasnt comped as there were bed bugs both nights- I just happened to kill one the second night). I am worried that if I had any- they might have gotten to someone else in the airplane. Once home- sprayed the car (they do make a spray that kills them and what it doesnt kill- it keeps them from maturing). Maybe they have bed bugs so much- its not that upsetting to them. Ruined my weekend- ended up leaving VERY early the next day and changing flights. They just matter-of-factly told me how to treat things when I got home so (hopefully) I didnt infect my whole house.

  Nice Place to Stay!

  My wife and I booked this hotel for an overnight stay at the last minute and we arrived late in the evening. The young lady at the front desk met us with a smile and quickly had us off to our room. Our room door seal indicated the room had been cleaned and sanitized for COVID, which was very comforting to my wife. The separate bedroom area made it feel more like home. We greatly enjoyed the full breakfast and coffee prepared downstairs the next morning in the comfort of our in-room kitchen. I have stayed at several Homewood Suites in the past and this was by far the cleanest and nicest of them all.

  Great service and great value in Durango

  Upon check-in the Homewood Suites provided friendly service and a very comfortable atmosphere. My suite was very clean and the full kitchen was very useful at a time when restaurant services were completely open. The complimentary hot breakfast was a great starter to my business day and was served with a smile. The Homewood suites was a great product for the price and I would recommend it to all travelers.

  Best Hotel In Durango!!

  I would know - I've lived in Durango for 3 years. Used to stay at the Hilton downtown for 3x as much $$ per night. Not only is this hotel CLEAN, but the staff are super friendly and make you feel at home (especially important during these crazy times of "social distancing"... I am going through a divorce and have been living at this hotel for the past week - it is so nice to have a mini-kitchen and the front desk staff to talk to. Ordell is WONDERFUL (give this man a raise!) - so cheerful and helpful, as well as the lady who serves the delicious free breakfast most days we have been here. The printer in the business center was offline, but the women at the front desk gave me their email and printed off multiple documents I needed for the courts. The pool & hot tub are also great, again - very clean and nice - kind of hard to find in Durango. My kids love it!! Do yourself a favor and stay here (ps it's only 5 minutes from downtown and 30 mins from Purgatory)!! Also, check out alternative sites like Booking.com etc for the best rates... it's not the busy season right now but $80/night is a steal for a hotel like this.

  Great Place to Stay in Durango

  I decided to stay here because they had a kitchen in case we had trouble eating out. I was generally very happy with this facility. The hotel was very clean and we had excellent service from front desk to breakfast to maid service. The room was spacious and quiet. Comfortable king bed. Due to Covid, the breakfast was served by staff vs. self serve, but it went well. They had a pool and hot tub which was nice. The only issue I had was the temperature. The heat was too high in our room (78 degrees) and the thermostat did not seem to work. We just turned off the heat or ran the AC to get the temp down to 72. This was a relatively minor thing. We were very happy here and would stay here again.
