  Good Stay

  The staff are great, the hotel and room are beautiful, I appreciate the hot breakfast, wifi is strong and access to covered parking. First hotel I have stayed in with quiet, slam-free doors and a ceiling fan- thank you! Suggestions: - Was not aware until check in there would be a charge for parking, especially in light of this not being downtown, there is ample parking, and no dashboard placard system in place.  - Room was not ready by 3:pm, indicating short staffing or slow cleaners.  - The emergency alarm going off at 5:30AM on 8/18 was not great. The emergency doors magnet not reset until much later.  - TV has no channel guide, nor ability to stream membership apps like Netflix. So leaves channel surfing with commercials. =-(  -  AC is loud and makes a rattling sound; you can't turn it up too much or the heat comes on. There is a fan low / high option but it never worked independently of the AC.  - Shower hot water did not work until the 3rd time I tried to use it. Then, it worked only sporadically. Faucet plate loose, water pressure could be better. - Zero USB charging stations, and the wall outlets keep popping out my adapters.  - Ottoman has stains on the top of it, looks like it was cleaned with bleach. One of the lamps is missing its finial. Small carpet stain in front of sofa and at entry. Kitchen paring knife handle cracked making blade loose.  - Curtains and shears do not fully close allowing direct sunlight to stream through even when both are completely closed.  - Pillows are mushy and require much patting through the night to keep the bulk of feathers under my head.  - There's an on again/off again buzzing sound coming from someplace, especially in the morning but often during the afternoons, too. Sounds like a faraway foghorn, but I am supposing it is the HVAC or plumbing system. Had to use my white noise sound machine to drown it out.

  Great location, sub par hotel

  The location of the hotel is wonderful! There are plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby which is great since we didn't want to stray too far from the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel fell short of my expectations. The floor we stayed on must have been undergoing construction because our room # was made of electric tape and was clinging for dear life to the wall. Apart from the awkward renovations (which I was not made aware of upon arriving) the security team seems to take a little to much pride in yelling at people. I had far too many run-in's with security over things as simple as sitting in my car in the parking lot. Check-in lady was great! Excellent customer service, not happy with your security team.

  Surprisingly sub-par

  I'm a loyal Hilton Diamond member, and I've stayed at Hilton properties all over the US and the world. This property is not one of the better ones. Twice in the last 8 days, I've called the property asking them to check the lost and found for an item I might have left in the room before checkout. Both times, the front desk clerk assured me I would be called back with a status. I never got a call back, either time I called. The lost item cost about $150. I'd really like to know if I left it. I shouldn't have to call a third time to find out. I checked into the hotel late at night and popped a frozen entree in the microwave in my room for dinner. I couldn't find silverware, plates, or glasses anywhere. Figuring that everything had been removed from the room because of COVID, I ate with my fingers. The next day, I asked the front desk clerk if I could have some plastic utensils since there were none in the room. She said, "Check the dishwasher." So I did. There everything was. A note on the kitchen counter informing me, upon checkin, that I could find kitchen items in the dishwasher would have been helpful. Also, the typical bottled waters that are usually in the room upon checkin weren't there. Usually, those are present and complimentary for Diamond members. Maybe Hiltons are no longer offering that because of COVID. Overall, the decor was a little tired. The sofa cushions weren't straightened when I first arrived at the room, the desk chair could barely be pulled out without bumping into the armchair, and a noisy window unit made sleeping less than optimal. Location-wise, the property is in a plum spot and will never be wanting for clientele because of it. But something's just a little off with this Homewood Suites.

  TV tunes to CNN. Terrible

  Why does my TV turn on and automatically go to CNN? I dont want to watch that trash. How much does Hilton make from CNNs donations? So sick of liberals. Other than that hotel is nice. If you love CNN you will fit in great. Yuk Would give it a 5 if it owned by CNN

  Outstanding Service

  Joy was amazing and made sure our entire group was comfortable and well taken care of. The lobby was clean, breakfast was delicious, the room itself was large and spacious with a full kitchen and very clean. We will be back in 2 weeks and we are looking forward to our next visit! Thanks again Joy!
