buen hotel a las afueras de CincinnatiEl Hotel queda un poco retirado de Cincinnati downtown pero tiene muy buena relación calidad precio. Muy limpio, habitaciones amplia, wifi gratis y de buena velocidad de acceso. Tiene restaurantes y servicios cerca. Muy recomendable.

The good and the badThis was our honest experience. First, finding the place. Signage could be better. We had to circle around to find this place, not knowing it was in the old Cincinnati Enquirer building. Having worked for a newspaper and a person who loves history, this was fascinating. The front of the building is pretty neat. The valet service we received was exceptional. Bruce, our valet, went above and beyond helping us with our luggage, questions, and check in. He really made our experience here pleasant, and always remembered our name. I'll admit - the lobby here needs some help, and to add a bit of confusion, there are two hotels here, not one. The lobby is too dark, and should be showpiece. Check in went fine, though remember that you'll need your key to get to your floor in the elevator. Staff was pleasant and wore masks appropriately. Rooms were large, well designed, and comfortable. We walked to Nicholson's Tavern which was nearby. Not sure of the area, I'd keep any walking to daylight hours. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. We're familiar with restaurants and their restrictions during Covid, but a few breakfast bars, prepackaged muffins, coffee and a few bananas didn't cut it. No juice for my son. In fact, not much food was out. We made the best of it and brought it to our room. We only stayed a night so I can't say much else other than Bruce, our favorite valet, was there again to help us pack up our truck when we checked out. Our stay was ok, though I might try another place next time.

Terrible StayI am a Corporate Operations Manager for a large construction company and I always stay in Homewood Suite Hotels all over the country. I have stayed in over 15 Homewood Suites locations and have stayed over 125 nights in the last year. I have never been in one of your hotels that has been this bad. The only other time I had an issue was in the Louisville East location. There was food and debris beside the refrigerator. The hotel room was extremely filthy. The sofa had stains all over it. the thermostat didn't work. The walls looked they have not been cleaned in years. The hotel supervisor booked me for the wrong days and didn't seem like she knew what was going on. I am no expert on knowing when someone is under the influence of a drug, however, it seemed like she was bouncing all over the place and couldn't focus on anything. The hotel room keys didn't work half of the time and I had to keep getting new keys programed. We asked for one of the employees at the front desk to bring us up some shampoo and conditioner and he told us to meet him at the front desk and refused to send it up to our room. I normally travel for business but on this occasion I brought my family for a weekend vacation and it was a disaster as far as the hotel room. I have always bragged to my wife how great Homewood Suite hotels are and I was completely embarrassed. I have been a Hilton Honors member for over a year but after this complete lack of care for the cleanliness of the rooms and customer service I will be looking else where to stay on business. I am extremely disappointed in my stay at this location.

Traveler BewareI dont like leaving bad reviews but I think this is a case of people being able to make informed travel decisions. We have stayed at this location in the Homewood Suites and the Hampton many times and have always been pleased but this time wasnt quite as nice. Im disappointed that the Hilton chain claims they have a stellar Covid cleaning protocol which is most certainly not true here. The first room they sent us to had the Lysol sticker on the door but smelled like dirty diapers when we opened the door (unbearable stench). The second room had the same sticker on the door with food in the sink and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Luckily I had plenty of alcohol wipes with us and wiped down the entire suite (including the rods on the blinds). I do understand the whole industry being impacted by Covid and the reduced staff. I also dont mind making the room clean and sanitized to my standards but dont tell me you are sanitizing the room when you clearly arent even cleaning it well! On a positive note, Heather at the front desk in the evening was wonderful. She was working the front desk checking people in and running around getting people towels, ice, toilet paper, paper towels and coffee. She is definitely an asset to your team. We visit Cincinnati quite often but will probably stay somewhere else next time.

Great Staycation!My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend and decided to do a quick trip downtown. The staff was so accommodating and Ryan in valet took great care of us and recommended several restaurants to try. We definitely recommend!
