Had a quick stay; great experienceStayed at the Homewood Buckhead for a quick business trip. Im a Diamond member with Hilton and really look to Hilton for stays that make being away from home a little more comfortable. This hotel gave that to me and made work easy and smooth! Wok return!

Very nice stayHad a great time visiting college friends. Hotel was located close to where I needed to be and close to restaurants, shopping and attractions. It was nice to have the separate kitchen and television with pull out sofa.

At reception, Tokoya is FANTASTICOur family stayed at Homewood Suite in July. Tokoya welcomes us on arrival and checked us out on departure. I forgot my favorite pajamas. I called Tokoya, and she kept them a whole month for me!! She is awesome. We stayed in contact by phone and email. She was so helpful. The hotel is in a great location. We were very happy!!

Disappointing is so many ways!!Family of four seeking to get away from the less desirable part of Metro Atlanta for a staycation. What a HUGE disappointment!! We thought the location would ensure we had a phenomenal experience, WRONG! #1 the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything!! We heard people walking down the hall at all times of the night and early morning. #2 the doors don't have the mechanism which prevents them from slamming. Every dang door which was opened at all the wrong times of the night and the wee hours slammed! #3 it's a micro-suite. We felt like we were in Manhattan, which would not be a bad thing, if we were in NYC. #4 the place is run down some. The couch and dining chairs were as flat as table. #5 the hotel needs a water filter. The water in Atlanta is poor and I would have expected a hotel of this caliber in this location to have a water filter. NOPE! Hard water which had my skin itching all day and night. This is a 2.5 star hotel at best! I don't recommend it if you are traveling with a family or if you actually want to experience a tranquil nights rest. The bed was comfortable, but that means little when the people above are rearranging furniture at 1 or 2 or 3 am. SMH!! Never again!!!

COVID-rate-worthyMy Mom was sent to Atlanta to have surgery so my Dad and I needed a place to stay while she was in the hospital. Im fairly particular about the hotels I stay in and therefore tend to have a hard time finding what I want in a big city like ATL. I want interior hallways and self/free parking. Location is a big deal, too. This hotel met all my criteria. Its situated in a residential condo area. I could go either left or right out of the hotel to get to Piedmont Hospital. Left was better because not only was it faster and shorter, I could then take a couple of more quick lefts and be on Peachtree Rd. which is a more residential area to drive to the hospital. I liked that better than going right and getting stuck in the more business, traffic section of town. Its about 4 miles / 15 minutes to Piedmont Hospital from this hotel. The main self parking is in the back of the hotel. That is NOT the first floor. Youll walk in on a lower level and need to take an elevator or stairs to get to the 1st floor of the hotel where the lobby is. You could also unpack from the front of the building but once youre in your room you wouldnt go out the lobby door to go the parking lot. I mean, you COULD, but thats not the best way to get to your car. Youre best off taking the stairs or elevator down to the parking level. This hotel has a digital key on the Hilton app that gets you into the building and your room. You can also check in and out via the app. Really convenient! No need to stop by the front desk. I am not overly interested in breakfast at hotels but I loved the grab & go set up they had to help with all the COVID restrictions. There were microwavable Jimmy Dean sausage & egg biscuits and English muffins; yogurt, fruit, individually-wrapped muffins & bagels, water bottles, juices and oatmeal/grits packets. Paper bags to put all your goodies in. I was impressed with this set up. Everything was super-clean and organized and well-stocked. We stayed in a corner suite which was really a king suite (one bedroom with kitchen/den) with an adjoining Queen room that they could have sold individually. Rooms 121 & 123. They overlooked the parking lot. The rooms were fairly updated and clean. Some things just show their age, like couches, but that stuff doesnt bother me. The grey toned color scheme made me feel cozy. The den area had a TV, 2-range stove, microwave, dish washer, full frig/freezer, table, couch, mini table, chair and footstool. It was a great spot for me to work during the day. The only bedroom issue we had was the King bed didnt have a box spring so it was really low to the ground and my dad, who is a big man at 76 years old, had a tough time getting in and out of that bed, although he said it oddly was super comfortable to lay in! I was in the Queen bedroom and those beds slept great. Nice bathrooms in each room as well. Well-cleaned. Fully stocked. TVs in both bedrooms. Super-friendly and helpful staff upon my arrival and met several nice housekeeping staff during our stay as well. Yes, as with most hotels Ive stayed in, when GUESTS are loud and obnoxious in the wee hours of the night, youre going to hear them. I dont see any reason to blame the hotel for that unless guests get out of hand and they dont handle it if it continues. The last night we were there, we had some loud people in the hallways and in the parking lot playing music but it was short-lived and not really much of a bother. We would have loved to stay here throughout the weekend but the weekly COVID-rate isnt extended through Friday & Saturday nights so we had to switch hotels due to the price change. But this for us was a perfect location and a nice experience for our purposes of being close by to my Mom. Oh, did I mention theres a Panera Bread and Chick-fil-a like 2 minutes away? Would absolutely stay at this location again.
