  Just OK

  Stayed a couple of nights here.....in my opinion, it's old and tired and a little overpriced. Close to amenities, but won't stay there again. The surrounds need a lot of maintenance, which detracts from the motel. The shower was good, the pool was clean !!

  Not worth the money

  This property appears to have changed hands last year, and the new owners are making do on a shoestring. The pillows are hard. The single bed has no bed lamp, and the provision of toiletries was non-existent. In the three days we were there, the shampoo and shower gel dispensers remained empty and were not refilled. Tea and coffee was minimal, 3 each teabags, international roast coffee, sugar and small UHT milk. Only 2 small cups and saucers and two teaspoons were provided, despite beds available for three people. We were only provided each day with one hand towel and one face washer, plus two bath towels and a bath mat. The staff consisted of three people who did everything, and were still completing cleaning late into the afternoon. This is quite a large property. Our bin was not emptied on our third day, and there was no bin in the bathroom. There is very little outdoor seating, each two seater set shared by several rooms, and only three plastic chairs and a table near the pool. Our room was advertised as ground floor, but there were three concrete steps with no handrail to negotiate to get into our room, not good for seniors with mobility issuesThere was absolutely no hotel information in the compendium provided in the room. Overall, we were charged far too much for a very ordinary experience.

  Dated and needs a good clean

  This motel was adequate for a 1-night stay, and the staff seemed friendly enough. But honestly, the room needed a deep clean and refurbishment. The motel is dated. I was also quite concerned to find that, although the electrical appliances in the room (e.g. hairdryer) had been tested & tagged, the tags said that the next test was due in June 2016. It's now November 2020, and that pretty much sums up the whole motel if I'm honest. I don't think this was worth the money when better similarly-priced motels are available nearby.

  Try somewhere else

  Only good thing I can say about this motel is that the linen looked fresh and clean. Everything else was poor. Room was smelly, dirty and very dated. When we arrived the drain plug in the shower was full of hair, doesnt bode well for the cleanliness of the rest of the room. Didnt feel comfortable taking my thongs off, even in the room!

  Needs A Deep clean and Stay elsewhere

  I stayed here in March this year before a job interview and was given an upstairs room which was nice up until i opened the door there was filthily walls that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in about a year. the bath/shower was quite a struggle to get into even though im over 6foot i found it difficult to get into but when i did finally get over that i found it was absolutely disgusting dirt or mold on the bottom of the bath and the fan sounded like it needed replacing. i had trouble with opening the door since it was almost jammed and the owner didn't really understand English that well. So my recommendation to anyone staying in Dubbo don't stay at this motel. stay elsewhere.
