  AMAZING!!!

  From the moment we arrived to this beautiful home, we had the most amazing 5 days with our family. The house is just beautiful and Annine made it so relaxing and easy... lovely breakfasts and in addition she bought us food fro Braais and lunches... the perfect location for some of the best vineyards in SA and so much to do in the area for the kids too. We will be back for sure!!!!!

  40th Birthday Weekend

  We had a fantastic weekend in this incredible home.I would recommend the Homestead to anyone looking for natural beauty, stylish design and first-class luxury! A showcase for the best that the Cape has to offer. Thank you to Annine and her team.

  Heaven on earth

  We had a fantastic long weekend with our best friends celebrating my wife's birthday . Oldenburg Homestead is simply breathtaking - tastefully furnished , beautiful views in every direction out of any window and all the amenities one needs for a super luxurious and comfortable stay . Staff are very efficient , friendly and helpful . Food was simply amazing . Truly a memorable experience - we will be back .

  What a beautiful house.

  Our mixed group of 7, namely 3 from the UK and 4 from the USA, enjoyed 5 glorious nights at Homestead late September 2019. The house is truly beautiful having been tastefully renovated and well maintained. To cap that, it sits in an amazing panorama of valleys and mountains in the wine lands of South Africa. We were spoiled by the small team of Annine, the House Manager, and her helpers, Alex and Samantha. They served wonderful breakfasts each morning. Also, for those who wished to partake of Oldenburg products, wines and nibbles were readily available. The interior of Homestead is not ostentatious, rather it has been tastefully decorated to suit the age and style of the building. Bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable. There is more than enough comfortable seating both in the house and outside, and it was so easy to relax and enjoy the vista with a cup of coffee or a gin and tonic. It is not an inexpensive experience but I would recommend it to anyone looking for something really special.

  Overall we had a nice stay in this beautiful homestead . The Location is very beautiful, the rooms well appointed, but its definitely a 5 and a half bedroom house because one of the rooms is a small twin bed room with bath a few stairs below the room , so no en-suite . We had very strong storm like winds for almost 3 days and even trees falling down on the road leading to the homestead so I dont know if there is any windstill time there , it occurred to us that everywhere was calmer than at the homestead. The breakfast and staff are very friendly - especially Alex is a wonderful , and very attentive host. The braai that was included in the price was also delicious and like I said scenery is extremely beautiful , I guess its just the very strong winds for more then 48 hours that keep me from giving it 5 stars .
