  Great stay for NHS keyworker

  Lovely owners, cosy room, comfy bed and fab cooked breakfast- refreshed for a busy day. Cleanest BnB ive ever stayed at and private bathroom was immaculate. Thank you so much. Will be staying again. : )

  Clean and comfortable

  Just a one night stay and the room was comfortable and quiet. Easy to park on-street outside the B&B. Very friendly welcome and good service. A lovely home cooked breakfast in the morning with a good selection of breakfast things to choose from.

  Lovely little place

  We only stayed one night here but it is a little gem of a place. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. The room (room 3) was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. It was nice to see the house had been kept very 'Victorian'. It doesn't need any modernisation! Breakfast was fantastic. The owners cooked and served it themselves, always a nice touch and just how a B and B should be! They even gave extra scrambled eggs for our 10 month old baby to enjoy! Highly recommended place to stay in Barnard.

  Great B&B

  Great little B&B walkable into Central Barnard Castle. Friendly hosts, lovely breakfast. Thanks for the warm welcome for us and the dog. Rooms were very comfortable. Parking is on the road but no problem getting a space.

  Lovely B & B

  I booked three rooms here for one night as a good place to stop on the way home from Northern Scotland. I liked the idea of dinner as well to save going out again, after a long days travelling. All rooms were great, lovely premises and warm welcome from the host. The Dinner served was excellent quality . Everyone enjoyed their meal. I did have to go and get some wine at the local supermarket as the B&B isnt licensed to sell wine etc. and a nice Italian meal without wine isnt an option. My room ( garden room) was very good and very comfortable, my only issue was that our rooms wi-fi couldnt connect / work. Only being their one night this was not an issue. The breakfast ( and many choices ) was also excellent. We will stay here again, and I,be already reserved rooms for next year.
